High Mouse Sensitivity Fix

---

Run the game once, change a few settings and exit to create the needed files

Open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\

Open the file XUserOptions with Notepad

Search for the lines MinMouseLookSensitivity and MaxMouseLookSensitivity

By default, the minimum will be set to 0.100000 and the maximum will be set to 4.000000

Change the minimum setting to either 0.04 or 0.05

Change the maximum setting to 1.0

Set DefaultEnableMouseAcceleration=False in this same file

Save and exit the file

Run the game and set the mouse sensitivity slider to ONE notch up from the minimum

Make sure mouse acceleration is turned off in the game's options

Disable Startup Movies

BLACK SCREEN:

This can cause at black screen at launch for some players. If this happens just rename the lines back to what they originally were (re-enabling startup movies), or add the lines if they got deleted.

If you haven't - Run the game once, change a few settings and exit to create the needed files

Open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\

Find and open the XEngine.ini file with Notepad

Search for the [FullScreenMovie] section

Search for the following four lines:

StartupMovies=2KLogoSweep720p2997

StartupMovies=IrrationalLogoTest

StartupMovies=UE3AnimatedLogo_ProRes

StartupMovies=AMDLogo720p

Change these to:

;StartupMovies=2KLogoSweep720p2997

;StartupMovies=IrrationalLogoTest

;StartupMovies=UE3AnimatedLogo_ProRes

;StartupMovies=AMDLogo720p

Save and exit the file

Increase Field Of View

If you haven't - Run the game once, change a few settings and exit to create the needed files

Open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\

Open the file XUserOptions with Notepad

Search for the line - MaxUserFOVOffsetPercent

Change the 15.000000 number to 100

Save and exit the file

Now in the game's options, you can extend the FoV further than the default maximum

Disable Depth Of Field (Blurry Backgrounds)

If you haven't - Run the game once, change a few settings and exit to create the needed files

NOTE:

Depth of Field setting is linked to the light shafts settings. If you disable it, the light shafts will be also be disabled.

To disable depth of field:

Open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\

Find and open the XEngine.ini file with Notepad

Find the following line:

DepthOfField=True

Change it to:

DepthOfField=False

Save and exit the file

Disable Motion Blur

If you haven't - Run the game once, change a few settings and exit to create the needed files

Open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\

Find and open the XEngine.ini file with Notepad

Find the following line:

MotionBlur=True

Change it to:

MotionBlur=False

Save and exit the file
