The Phavag Saga

The Phavag Saga

Age Of Development

This was the age when the first kingdoms came to being.

There were a few kingdoms, but the one you need to worry about is Great Lale, and it's king, Phavag. which leads us to out next age.

The First Conquest Of Great Lale

King Phavag declared war on the two nearby nations (The names of which have been forgotten). Great Lale's military greatly outnumbered both kingdoms' combined military power, and both kingdoms were conquered by dawn the next day, ending King Phavag's first conquest.

The Great Coalition War

There were two kingdoms left after the First Conquest. Great Lale was rather large now after taking two entire kingdoms, and the kingdoms of Ladupa and Evip (and the kings of those kingdoms) realized that if they didn't stop Phavag they would be next....so, they formed the coalition of two kingdoms (Near the end there will be more). They sent their troops next morning and attacked the town of Vow (full name lost in translation). Phavag (Who named himself EMPEROR Phavag) was furious that anyone would dare question his mighty power! The battle of Vow was won by Evip, however in a few days Lale would take it back, and a few days Evip would try to attack it AGAIN, but this time it accidentally destroyed the entire town...while this happened Ladupa greatly overestimated their military power when they joined and the main capital was taken, and lale slaughtered all the ladupan villages, all except for a small ladupan farmer in the village Umdrum, as they didn't see what harm a little farmer boy (Albeit a tough boy) could do to the Lalian empire. But unbeknownst to them, the boy was changed after seeing all his family and friends slaughtered, and the seeds for a counter attack were planted. Mean while, Evip and Lale were going at it on the unclaimed land between the Kingdoms (Evip had expanded a bit in the time), but it was a bit of a stalemate at the moment, as both kingdoms had equally large armies and no one could make any progress in the war, a no-man's-land of sorts, accept with grass, flowers and nice things all about. Nearly an entire century passed and not a whole lot happened (Aside from that one time Lale held a massive Evipian village not far from the capital before Evip took it back), but after seeing all their friends and family captured or killed, the prior capital of Ladupa (The one that looks like a leg) declared independence and began the kingdom of Lafla. They had a large army to begin with, so when they switched, a quarter of the entire kingdom Lale's military split! Phavag was fuming, and he personally went to slaughter them all at the capital of the "Unorganized group of ungrateful peasants" as he said (Or at least we think he said it, we aren't sure, he was too busy snorting sugar (Which leads us to a little footnote in this story))

Phavag

Phavag wasn't a nice guy. He was the self-proclaimed "Supreme Emperor of Great Lale". Although he was a bit mentally broken in some areas, he was a skilled leader and a pretty decent tactician (Which is why he got so far as to turn a small kingdom into an empire). Unfortunately, the pressure was just getting to him, so he resorted to some....rather undesirable methods of relaxation, which I'm not sure if I can go into detail about without getting in trouble. (HINT: sugar you put in one of two cavity on your face that isn't your mouth). He married a broke widow who only married him because she was broke and had kids to feed. He had extreme temper tantrums when anyone defied his power, which is how he was introduced to the "sugar" by someone (And the guy that gave him the sugar saved more lives than anyone in this story).

The Great Coalition War (Continued)

When Phavag attacked Lafla, they greatly underestimated the power of peasants. They lost. It was pretty boring, actually. Meanwhile another large village revolted and became Great Krell, and on top of all that, Ladupa (Who had grown large in all those years and were waiting for the opportunity to attack) and Evip saw this as a perfect opportunity to attack Nava, a large coastal city that shared borders with the capital of Great Lale. It was one of the largest battles in the The Great Coalition War, and had major generals die, and even the king of Evip died (The Ladupan king, the tough farmer boy from all those years ago, barely survived). Everyone knew what came next. Everyone knew that everything they had done hinged on the upcoming event. All the Allies, old and new, came together to fight the final battle: THE CAPITAL. The battle was tremendous. Peasants, soldiers and kings fought. However, the allies noticed Phavag was acting....funny. You see, it's a debated topic why he was how he was on that day, but its assumed that Phavag's wife was so done with Phavag's crap that she spiked his water canteen hours before the battle so he was completely beyond drunk. He ran straight into the enemy, not waiting for his army to follow. needless to say, he was completely obliterated by arrows. From there the morale of Lale troops died with their leader and they surrendered a bit to quickly, almost as if they hoped it would happen or something. Anyways, the king died and the peasants are rejoicing, thus ending The Great Coalition War. At the end of the day, Evip came on top with the most gained. They were bigger than Great Lale used to be. As if they wanted the war to happen so they could seize territory and become powerful. It was as if something very, very, bad were about to happen......
