How to make cool maps

Step 1

First, make a new Empty World. The example here uses Iceberg Size.

Step 2

Make a line that looks like you as a 4 y/o trying to make a straight line of sand

Step 3

Now, use the Vortex tool on the side either up or down (Facing the least amount of water)

Step 4

Now, add soil (Forest or plain) to the side with the most water until it is full. This step is the hardest.

Step 5

Now, add seeds. I prefer using mainly grass with most of it, permafrost in a corner, swamp in another corner, mixed with a jungle, savanna in another, desert in another corner, then finally a crystal seed area surrounded by mountains at the top of it, but you can do whatever!

Step 5

Now, let's add mountains! If you have a snowy or permafrost area, I would recommend putting them there! For mountains, some people use earthquakes, but that can ruin it! Instead, use the alternative! For this, just use your mouse with a very small diamond, and drag it around like strokes of blo- ketchup, yea ketchup and possibly even make them overlap to make it a little more realistic!

Step 6

Now, lets vortex! Get the vortex out, once again, and vortex your entire world, for the biomes, it'll make it more realistic.

Step 7

Get shallow waters, with the 1x1 square. Now, make a couple of waterways, kind of like rivers, and bring them around a little bit. Not a TON, but a small amount is fine. Also, remember to take it slowly, doing it to fast will block the water!

Step 8

Now, at the beach you made all the way back in Step 1, put a shallow ocean near it, then a close ocean, so it is more realistic. Also, remember, VORTEX!

Step 9 (Optional)

Now, let's make a small island in the bottom right of the world. I will be using the Graffiti (5) paintbrush with soil, and make it a small deserted island! I would use skeletons, and put the traits Tiny, Weak, and Cursed so they have 1 HP. I would recommend using a rain for this.

The End!

You have done it! You have made an awesome map (In my standards!) Now, give yourself a pat on the back for all of that hard work! I would recommend saving (unless your save files are a mess like mine) and now you are free to do whatever, and thank you for your time!
