MR. DANCE Strategy [ EASY DIFFICULTY ]

Introduction

Before we begin you need to know a few things about the boss fight:

There will be four (threeish) phases,

PHASE 1.1

PHASE 1.2

PHASE 2

PHASE 3

PHASE 4

In PHASE 1, Mr. Dance has a jumping rhythm that *almost* goes well with the music. Try to get used to his rhythm first as it will greatly help on knowing when he will attack.

As you may have know, jumping gives a burst fire for your pellets.

PHASE 1

In Phase 1.1, you want to get to to the top left of the arena and wait for Mr. Dance to hug the wall, be very careful that if you go on top too fast there is a chance that Mr. Dance may get on top of your platform, do it too late and you'll be off rhythm.

On his next jump, (purple), you want to double jump and quickly rush to the right side of the top arena. From here you will get the Top Pellet. On his next jump (blue arrow) you want to double jump as similar to the previous one.

Now here's Phase 1.2

With every jump he makes you want to time with a small short jump to create a burst fire capable of dealing massive damage, also strafe quickly to the opposite side to avoid dying. Do this around 3 - 5 times and you'll be able to bring him to Phase 2.

PHASE 2

Now this is Phase 2, the "Heli Phase" if you may call it. It's a bit intimidating having a whole copter follow you but I will tell you my step process with how I was able to defeat this phase.

Any start will do as long as you're on top of the arena as soon as Mr. Dance goes into his copter-phase. You will need him to be inside one of the red boxes. Once he's inside the red boxes you quickly perform a double jump, strafe below him, and perform a quick burst. And quickly rush to the other side of the arena. DO NOT GET THE HORIZONTAL PELLETS, they will simply do no damage and aiming is tedious.

Repeat this step on the other side of the arena and you'll go to Phase 3. It's going to take some time and practice but once you get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake.

PHASE 3 AND PHASE 4

Now you're at Phase 3 (this is pretty similar to Phase 4).

For this stage you want to get the horizontal pellet and start shooting. There's no point in going to the other side of the arena UNLESS you have to dodge bullets.

I do not recommend getting the top-pellets as Mr. Dance has some code in their movement that "moves" him to the other side of the arena whenever you're below him. This obviously can create problems and a lot of miss shots, not to mention some bullets you need to dodge. The horizontal pellets is a must.

Everything is basically similar with Phase 4.
