Recon Lasgun Build!

Hello My name is Mr.Muddy! This is my Recon lasgun build for Veteran Sharpshooter!
Why Recon lasgun?It is a very fun gun to use and deceptively strong! Although it has its share of downsides. This build can shred shooters and deal high damage to reapers and if you can aim even bulwarks. But this build fails at dealing with mutants crushers
How to play with this buildIt is very tempting to shoot this gun into a crowd of poxwalkers because it is very satisfying but we have to remember that this gun eats through ammo. It is best to keep reconlasgun ammo for shooters and specials meanwhile using powersword to deal with crowd's mutants and crushers. Get used to firing in bursts with 2-3 well placed bullets to the head we can take down shooters very easily even if they survive burn stacks will melt them.
Boss killerReconlasgun deals very low damage compared to veterans other guns. But thanks to infernus we can stack burn dots and with usage of Frag storm feat we can stack bleeds + burn on a boss and watch it melt! It is not the fastes boss killer but it will deal significant damage over time to a boss.
Damnation Viable?YES! but keep that in mind with this build you will be very ammo hungry and won't be able to deal with mutants very effectively. Be mindfull of your Ammo and fellow rejects do not hog all the ammo!
Weapon choices Among all the recon lasguns VId is the best overall. It does overall low base damage but fire rate makes up for that! Key to playing this weapon effectively is the Blessing Infernus Since this gun shoots a faster and Veteran's base crit is higher than other classes you will be applying burnstacks very fast! But don't get carried away this gun eats ammunition and does have its downsides.
Power sword
We will be using power sword to make up for our weaknesses with the reconlasgun as mentioned before Recon lasgun cannot deal with crushers ragers or maniacs very well. And wasting our precious ammo into a crowd is a waste of bullets. Instead we will be using Powersword to candle hordes crushers and mutants!
Power cycler?! Are you insane! It's a rare blessing!
It is not a must but it is very nice to have! Powersword by it self is a very good weapon. Slaughterer will help the meele damage after 5 stacks you won't even need to use the special activation of the weapon to kill horde's
Curios For Curios 2 toughness and 1 wound is a way to go! Resistances are personal preference
Feats!
Sniper vs Demoliton stock pile
Both feats are good. Sniper can give us little bit more damage when it comes to taking down reapers and long range specialist while Demolition stock pile gives us free grenades. It is up to you what to choose but i prefer Sniper for the extra added damage i usually keep my bombs for tougher targets. If you see a pile of reapers that are bunched up together throw a grenade shoot them couple of times to get burn stacks and just watch as they melt by your Dots!
