Eviscerator:

Perks:

Having 1-2 wounds + 25% maniac allows you to 1shot mutants with a single heavy, no need for revving and it helps to deal with ragers, +flak helps with just about all the other armored threats which there are going to be many of such as flak jacket ragers/trash melee or maulers (hit their body for flak damage as their helmet is carapace).

Other perks:

+carapace can be totally legit to rev through maulers or crushers heads, especially if you go up against only melee auric maelstorm.

+unyielding is a really nice concept to bring more damage against bosses, however I think that having flak and maniac is the best combo to dispose of ragers as soon as possible since they can chip your health far easier than other threats

+crit chance is totally legit to help you with resetting Fury of The Faithful

Blessings:

I'd say they are non negotiable. Rampage is a ridiculous damage amplification, it is very easy to activate and to keep up.

Shred is the meat of this build and it is the no.1 thing that allows this build to work without Blazing Piety. When you stack it up to full you can crit very often, it is pretty much Blazing Piety keystone itself as long as you hit enemies! SHRED RESETS TO 0 if you whiff an attack. The lower your hp the faster you attack and more damage you deal. The attack speed allows you to trigger crits very often + Fury of The Faithful attack speed steroid is handy. Stay close to enemies and dont ever stop swinging until everything is dead. Keep dodging and sliding, press Fury of The Faithful to gap close or restore toughness.

Revolver

Perks:

Anything goes but I think +crit chance helps a lot I use Revolver mainly to kill high value targets such as trappers/snipers and anything I can't reach quickly enough so could be bombers, flamers or gunners you name it. Aim for the head and watch everything fall apart. Also revolver penetrates enemies so you can shoot a trapper behind trash if you aim true. Be always sure to have at least 1 or 2 bullets in your revolver at any time so that whenever a fight breaks out and inevitably you will be surrounded by enemies, you can still pull out your gun and shoot a trapper through a head of some unlucky poxwalker if needed. It's better to dispatch of her whenver you can instead of dodging around (especially if you can get body blocked).

Blessings:

I think armor rending is very helpful, Surgical is a decent choice but doesn't fit my play style at all. My current revolver is armed with Point Blank so I get higher crit chance after melee, honestly feels pretty neat. Crucian Roulette could be good too, didn't try tho.

Revolver is a key part of this build. Heavy Eviscerator mk XV is not just slow in actual melee combat but also in it's movement speed. Every time you are outside of active melee combat, practice switching to your Revolver to run a bit faster. Do remember that you gain more dodging distance when you dodge slide off of elevation, even a small box will do the trick.

Wounds are a must to enable the build and Martyrdom. I love stamina regen for obvious reasons remaining bonuses can be anything ranging from +gunners +hp +toughness +toughness regen, whatever fits your playstyle the most.

The Survability

Remember to not be afraid of staying low on hp (3-4 wounds is good to go you gain a ton of stats) with Enduring Faith and 1 wound you have like 110% toughness damage reduction. Until Death + Holy Revenant is one of the most powerful combos in the game, don't ever forget it! You should stay close to melee action and be your team's frontliner for as long as you have that combo up and running. Look out for trappers, snipers, poxbursters and hounds. These enemies can very easily shut you down or take a chunk of your health bar. Other than that you can tank insane amounts of damage when you actually kill stuff and regain toughness. The larger the horde, the more resets for Fury of The Faithful.

All of the ranged threats may seem too dangerous to simply go full melee mode, fear not for the amount of sheer power this build carries allows you to walk over gunners as long as you can close the gap between them and you.

One of the most important things which do not just apply to this build is knowing how to utilize dodge and dodge sliding to avoid incoming damage as well as close the gap with your enemies even if your Fury of The Faithful is down.

Practice dodging and the timing when your dodges replenish. This skill itself will separate good zealot players from some of the best out there.

Having Thy Wrath Be Swift together with Until Death + Holy Revenant allows you to run through bullets and many stuns. With proper utilization of your dodges you will ignore most of the oncoming damage and before your toughness drops there should be something to kill in melee for that sweet toughness. With that obviously you will be able to keep your Shred stacks going and reset Fury of The Faithful to solve most of your issues.

Why Blades Of Faith Over Fire/Stun Grenade?

Blades of Faith may seem like an unnecessary tool but trust me, sometimes even with light fast reactions it's difficult to switch to your gun to shoot the trapper or snipers. You can always throw your trusty knives to deal with these issues and remember you basically have an infinite supply of knives so long as you kill specials/elites which is really easy with evisor. As far as I'm concerned you should be able to hit your targets with knives up to 50 maybe 55 meters. Anything below these marks should be pretty easy to hit with some practice.

Fire/stun grenades may be tempting but with this build YOU ARE the fire grenade. Usually fire grenades are a great subsidiary for builds with little to no aoe damage, you can just throw them on the ground and clean up the mess. With this build you become the unstoppable force able to rip through just about anything they throw at you with enough practice. And in addition to that, grenades block you from getting one of the best talents in the game which is Thy Wrath be Swift.

Thy Wrath be Swift is easily one of the most powerful talents in the game. You are no longer stunned by enemy melee attacks but also bomber grenade explosions, shotguners and reapers no longer push you away with their guns. This ability to literally ignore most stuns in the game allows you to walk through hordes and ranged enemies alike. Every time you lose your health you gain movement speed bonus which can help you reposition around the map. Therefore, you can even fall off of small ledges to lose like 5 hp and you gain a nice speed boost for a short time.

The Brute Force Of The Heavy Eviscerator Mk XV

With this build you are quite literally able to brute force your way through just about any horde that doesn't have crushers, bulwarks or bosses in it.

Against ragers push into them when you have Fury of The Faithful as the ability will stagger them all. Then keep swinging your lights and thanks to Shred you should gain enough resets back quickly to crush them. Having a surplus of health like 2-3 wounds instead of 1 is a lot safer when engaging against ragers unless you have your Until Death. Even if Fury of The Faithful can stun the ragers sometimes you will miss it and they will slice you a few times chipping your health a tiny bit. An important note would be that ragers do completely immobilized when you swing a heavy attack into their face, it doesn't even have to be revved (although, it will obviously be a safer bet to straight up kill them). So you can potentially pick one of them off before they swarm in on you for an easy heavy into light kill.

Maulers are stunned by simply swinging lights into their body, handy no? While a single mauler gets stun locked by your lights the more of them appear the more difficult it will be to consistently stun them because of the maximum armored targets your weapon can hit per swing which is probably around 3 or 4. Therefore I feel like dealing with maulers is fine until there is more than 4 of them. Then you will have to be very careful with how you distribute your light attacks. You can also try to take bait some of them to the side a bit so it's easier to see when they start to swing overhead at you. Worst case scenario you can push a mauler to stop his swing but in the end dodging and Fury of The Faithful is everything.

If there is only 1 or 2 ragers/maulers rev your weapon and swing a heavy, it will kill them much faster but in larger groups lights should be a lot more efficient.

With high enough stats and missing a wound or two (two or more is usually safer than just one) you can rev (special attack) your eviscerator, press Fury of The Faithful and swing heavy into the head of a crusher to 1 shot him, other than that you should typically need 2 revved heavies aimed at the head to kill crushers (obviously with fewer wounds left). If you see a crusher in a horde prioritize using Fury of The Faithful on him as soon as possible so that the trash doesn't block your path. If there is more than 1 or 2 crushers you should take a step back and secure yourself a relatively safe way to kite around them and kill them with revved heavies.
