Multiplayer Achievements You Can Earn On Your Own

Multiplayer Achievements You Can Earn On Your Own

Introduction

Basically, earning multiplayer achievements for this game is currently a nightmare. That's because almost no one plays this game anymore since it's nine years old and everyone has already done pretty much everything they've wanted to do with the game. While you can still get lucky and occasionally come across three other people who can play, most of your play time will be spent waiting in lobbies. I sadly can't help you find friends to play with, but I can help you out a tiny bit by showing you which achievements you can actually earn without other players. After earning these achievements, consider joining groups like this one to find more people to play multiplayer with.

There are six achievements you can earn by yourself. To earn them, open up a private lobby and press "Start Game." A round will start with you as the only player. You can goof around, collect salvage, and earn XP as well. There are four achievements that shouldn't be too difficult.

You'll need a weapon that can fire grenades. Shoot the grenades just far away enough to cause damage but not close enough to kill you. Successfully pull this off ten times for the achievement to pop up.

You'll need about 250 salvage to unlock your first character in Character Selection mode. This should be easily accomplished by looting one or two crates. If you still aren't sure how to do this, just ask in the comments.

Just play all four modes (Rescue, Team Deathmatch, Cry For Help, and Free For All) one time each. Some will be faster than others. This will take a little while since you have to play all three rounds. You can either collect loot while waiting or do other things like check social media or answer emails (just make sure you don't accidentally get kicked from the game due to idleness, or you'll have to start over).

On My Way Up

I'm not sure how much XP you need for level 10, though it'll likely be between 50,000 and 60,000 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Play Rescue mode as the Survivor team to get the most XP for your time.

Hard Achievements

It'll take a very long time to nab these, but they can technically be earned by yourself.

This will seriously be a real commitment since getting to level 60 requires over 1,770,000 XP, but you can technically earn this by grinding in a solo private match. You'll really want to play Rescue mode for this, as it's the quickest way to earn XP.

You'll need to collect a lot of loot so you can buy all the upgrades and characters. If you're struggling to earn this, make sure you haven't accidentally skipped a weapon and its upgrades. If you end up playing Rescue mode a lot, use the rounds where you're forced to play as the Solarii to grind salvage.

Conclusion

After playing the solo player campaign and getting all six of these achievements, you'll still have to collect nine more achievements for a perfect game. This will be best accomplished by finding 1-3 friends who are willing to play with you until you have all the achievements. Thankfully, many of them aren't hard; they just require a little coordination to intentionally earn. I leave the rest to you. If you'd like me to play with you, send me a friend request and a list of times you intend to play. It's going to be a pain, but we can beat this thing with enough perseverance.
