To Infinity

To Infinity

What Is Infinity?

A number that represents an uncountable quantity.

In The Game?

Ohhh. Infinity in NGU Industries is the point when you can't produce more of the material. This is achieved by having a single piece of the material produce 1 trillion (1e12) in one go. This means that speed and efficiency will not help at all, so there goes 2/3 of your beacons. It's possible to do it without beacons, but ridiculously inefficient.

But Why?

Making material go to infinity gives you several benefits. You won't need to place that material anymore to fulfill prerequisites. In theory, army units are supposed to be treated as if you have 1e18 of it, though there is apparently a bug that treats it as whatever you had before infinity. In the Muslukk Pit, an infinitied item provides 69 pit points. Conquer will stop providing that material as well, meaning you will start getting later items more often as materials are removed from the loot pool. A lesser benefit is that if your current work order requests the item, then you can instantly complete that part. It's not worth waiting though, as work orders grow with your production capacity.

How?

If you have all five beacons, then what are you doing here, the wiki has a better picture. If you're only at three beacons, then the picture below is what I've found to provide the best production with the first three beacons. This method provides me a hair over 13 times production, though when you are first able to build it you will NOT be able to produce that much. In the sellout shop you can buy/use production chips to increase production if you are close to infinity. I'm not providing a picture with the first four types as I doubt anyone would be interested in seeing that. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I doubt it.

Thanks?

You're welcome?
