How to Unlock the Community Champion Achievement

As many of you know, the Community Champion achievement has been unobtainable ever since the developers stopped supporting the game. This has left many of us achievement hunters frustrated and disappointed. However, I’ve discovered a method to unlock this achievement without using SAM.

Why Is the Achievement Unobtainable?

The reason this achievement is locked is that the developers had to manually activate the special community events required for it. Since development has stopped, these events no longer occur, making the achievement seemingly impossible to obtain.

The Solution: Downloading Previous Game Versions

Thankfully, SteamDB[steamdb.info] keeps an archive of all past game versions, including the ones where these events were active. By downloading these older versions via the Steam console, we can play the events and unlock the achievement.

Before starting please backup all your saves and game folders, doing this may corrupt your main save even if you don't use it.

1. Open the Steam Console

To do this:

Press Win + R, type steam://open/console, and hit Enter

This will open Steam with the console enabled

2. Download the Event Versions

Use the following commands in the Steam console to download the event versions:

Halloween Event - Dracoola's Return

download_depot 1009560 1009561 4984890009155374330

The Tenants - Winter Update

download_depot 1009560 1009561 4984890009155374330

Time For An Egg Hunt

3. Replace Your Game Files

Once downloaded, Steam will display the file location of the older version.

Simply:

Go to the folder Steam specifies.

Copy and replace your current game files with the downloaded ones.

Launch the game and play the event!

🔹 Tip: I recommend starting a new save to avoid the risk of corrupting your main progress. Complete each event in the order listed above.

4. Complete the Events & Update

After finishing an event, save your game and then repeat the process for the next event version.

Once you’ve played through all events, update your game back to the latest version—and the Community Champion achievement should unlock!
