Pylons

Pylons are items that teleport you to other pylons. Pylons must have 2 NPCs near it for it to work. NPCs will sell the pylon of whichever biome they're in, but only when they're happy enough. That means you have to put them in a certain biome and near certain NPCs. Most pylons will sell for 10 gold, except for the Universal Pylon, which is 1 platinum.

Forest Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Stylist and Zoologist near each other in the Forest biome.
Snow Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Goblin Tinkerer and Merchant near each other in the Snow biome.
Desert Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Steampunker and Cyborg near each other in the Desert biome.
Caverns Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Nurse and Arms Dealer near each other under the surface.
Ocean Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Pirate and Angler in the Ocean biome.
Forest Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Dryad and Witch Doctor in the Jungle biome.
Hallow Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Wizard and Party Girl near each other in the Hallow.
Mushroom Pylon
  • The best combination is to put the Truffle and Guide near each other in the Glowing Mushroom biome.
Universal Pylon
  • The Universal Pylon can be placed anywhere and doesn't need any NPCs near it to work. The Universal Pylon can be bought from the Zoologist for 1 platinum when the bestiary is complete.
