A Few Ways To Use Your Shovel To Full Capacity

Now, what you want to go for is to make sure you kill them before they kill you.

How your going to do that is in this guide.

Rule 1. DO NOT GET COCKY!

I see some players who think they can take on the world with the plain old shovel,

I say NO to that kind of thinking in this game! Have you ever played mega man 2? If you have, you didn't rush into the level thinking "I CAN DESTROY EVERYTHING!" right? No you didn't! You went through and looked and watched the area, makeing sure what does what, that is there, this is here!

Moral of the Rule. Don't think rushing into it head first will get you anywhere.

Rule 2. USE THOSE RELICS!

Nothing complements the shovel more than a nice set of Knuckle Dusters, or a Throwing Anchor.

Sure you thought this section is just about the shovel, wrong! you will use these relics like HELL later on, mostly for the bosses! say you have a enemy thats shooting a fireball at you, and there is spikes that will off you in a heartbeat, use the Fire rod on him and kill him! Continue on!

Moral of the Rule. Sometimes just the shovel won't get you anywhere.

Rule 3. JUMP AND PRESS DOWN!

Now, i feel kinda bad for supporting this kind of move, (Because its kinda cheating)

But what the hell! This move will kill almost every enemy in the game, (Bosses, Mini Bosses, and Normal Chumps) So learn it and use the other rules to really stick it to 'em!

Tips And Tricks

Now the shovel area is done, lets move to Tips and Tricks!

This area will teach you some things that will help a little bit!

Tip 1. Them Darn Walls!

Its not a secret, there are some walls that can be destroyed and will have money a relic or a music sheet for the town bard. So there are some walls that have say, a x, or a weird looking color tone. Hit them with the shovel! If it opens into some thing, grab whats inside and go find the next one!

(Note: Some walls that open up, if you hit the wall behind that you destroyed, there might just be another secret!)

Tip 2. Use the Potions!

When you reach the first town, you can go to the tavern, go down the ladder and break the wall on the Right. Inside will be a shop you can buy relics in, there will be a man waving his arms back and forth, moving side to side. He will offer you to buy a chalice, take them and go to the pond, you will see the tadpole king, hop over to him (Get it?) And watch a awesome dance and get the Potions of your selection!

Tip 3. Side Quests, Side Quests, Side Quests.

Always accept any quests you find, they will help you on your quest in everything. You need that money, and alot of it! So any enemys that spawn on the world map. Go get them and earn some cash!

Some times you can get alot of money for doing something simple!
