Leon S. Kennedy
For me is one of the most OP characters in the game. For some, the worst. At the beginning i thougth exactly the same thing but after using him more and more I realized that he is the most versatile character from the roster. The shotgun deals a lot of damage + if you aim for the head (has a lot of spread so it's the easiest weapon to do headshots). The shotgun has also stun power. People says that having two virus vials increase your damage so imagine the damage you could make if the shotgun has high damage already. His dual Matildas are insane. A lot of damage and 24 bullets (12x2) + if we have in mind that a handgun deals more damage than a SMG or AR. Is like having a SMG or AR, with less ammo in the mag but more powerful. His roundkick is tricky and hard to master. It is more accurate than Chris punch or Hunk hidden blade. Is a roundkick, meaning, it covers a large area so is really hard to miss unless the other player dodges. A good trick is to dodge in the direction of the enemy player and then roundkick. I always do it and it works. Catch them off guard. All melee skills stun the players so after the roundkick you can finish off the player with your firearms. His passive skill "rookie spirit" it's really useful. Recovers HP with the time so you dont need to search for herbs (only in extreme situations)
Claire Redfield
Claire have the most useful skills in the game. She can recover a little HP using the skill "adrenaline shot" (so no need to search for herbs, only in extreme situations or if the skill need to recharge). She can also stun human and BOW players with his skill "modified alternator" and finishing them off with his Uzi (i think it can stun more than one player, but I am not sure). His passive skill "speedloader" is insane. Dodging reloads your revolver instantly so you can shoot, dodge and shoot again. It is a revolver so it deals more damage than a handgun. His Uzi deals low damage but fires fast and it has a mag of 50 rounds
Jill Valentine
Jill is a very versatile character as well but his main weapon deals less damage than Leon weapons. His strong points are his passive skill "last escape" and his mines. With the mines you can stun the players and you can put them in strategic places (at the corners or tight corridors). His passive skill boost the damage after dodging. Combined with the hot dogger skill it can kill players and BOW players easly
Hunk
Everyone loves Hunk and is the coolest character to play in every RE game. He has good skills but nothing from the other world. His hidden blade skill fails a lot and he is not complete invisible. I spotted a lot of Hunk players easly. If you listen steps in front of you but there is nothing is probably a Hunk player. Also easy to spot them if you look carefully (blue / transparent silhouette). This character really shines when uses his hidden blade + invisibility cloak skill (if you manage to hit the other player). His SMG deals "okay" damage and fire fast.
Chris Redfield
This is the only game where Chris Redfield is not OP (he can punch boulders). I expected more from this legendary character tbh. His passive skill is "meh" and his exoskeleton arm fails a lot. The only strong point is his "indomitable spirit" skill, which make him immune to stuns or lethal attacks like the Super Tyrant charge. He owns a Samurai Edge that deals a lot of damage (best standard handgun) and his AR deals medium damage. I did not had any trouble playing against Chris players at all. Easy to beat them.
Ada Wong
What can I say? the worst by difference. His crossbow deals low damage (come on, it's a crossbow ffs) and his passive skill is also meh (recovers a little stamina when his HP is low). The best is his explosive shot skill and his somersault kick (which caught me off guard a lot of times because it is a really quick melee attack)
