New World NEW WORLD : ALL IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW FOR BEGINNERS

The Important Things To Know

1. Gather everything, Craft anything you can, if valuable sell it, if not salvage it.

AS SOON as you can, upgrade your gathering tools to higher tier ( related to your level) do it, will save alot of time. Take all alchemical things u can gather, because they have the advantage of having a low carry weight most of time.

ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO MANAGE YOUR STORAGE IN TOWN. (look in town maps to find)

as soon as you can get a green at least gathering tool in all type with azoth extraction bonus ( greatly increase azoth recover during gathering)

Always take time to go to all refining stations and craftin stations when you come back in town, to save maximum space and level up everything.

2. refine only what you need for crafting to higher tier material OR refine all if you need space

3.for leveling arcana make ice gantlets and healing staves with tier 1 motes in everfall (you can find

good numbers of it east of everfall city (just out of town and near a lake east). DO NOT only make potions it makes to much carry weight, doing weapons salvaging bad ones and selling cheap good ones is best solution (or salvage everything)

4.level up stone cutting to 50 with refining basic stones and cutting gems u find on silver nodes rarely to 50, then hunt for gold nodes for tier 3 gems (best place i know for gold is extreme south east of brightwood at frontier with other territory, east of mountains)

5. basicaly you may level up everything in crafting if you want to get rich and be a good player.

6. at town board you can get quests, so you do at faction board, you can accept quest clicking on it, and if you click again you can cancel it, it will most of time end with a new different quest appearing after a 5 minutes timer. Cancel quests that you don't like.

7. try to focus on not more than 4 weapons which are related to the same stats for the damage increase , and not more than 3 basical stats including constition ( INT/FOCUS/CON, INT/DEX/CON STR/DEX/CON STR/INT/CON DEX/FOCUS/CON DEX/INT/CON STR/FOCUS/CON, anything is good depending if you want to heal with a FOCUS staff or FOOD/POTIONS) . Because the game gets harder after lvl 35-40 and if you dont get enough weapons levels it will be harder. it is better to level up the secondary weapons once you reached max level with your favorite, or even lvl 60, so you'll still have something to do.

8. Do not forget to sign in the town you want to stay or want to be able to quick travel for free once every hour, manage to optimize your time questing gathering and crafting with that. to sign in go to the moon and home icon in town.

9. DO NOT buy any expensive items from market like weapons or armors for low levels, in fact you can normaly easily get to 60 questing if you got green gear at least 3-5 lvl under your actual level. SAVE your money. Players are quite mad on pricing on several servers.

FOR GATHERING :

IRON/SILVER : EAST OF EVERFALL TOWN, South of WINDWARDS

FOR FIBERS : EXTREME WEST OF WINDWARDS TERRITORY

FOR GOLD : EXTREME SOUTH EAST OF BRIGHTWOOD TERRITORY , CLOSE TO FRONTIER EAST OF MOUNTAINS (Weaver Fen frontier).

FOR WOOD : for T1T2T3 almost everywhere, for T4 BRIGHTWOOD is fine.

HOUSING:

The first house you buy you will get a 50% discount, there are different tier of houses, the highest the tier of the house is the more benefits you get from it, like storage capacity gathering buffs and free fast travel ( higher the tier of house is lower is the timer). So basicaly if you want to maximize the value of your first buy 50% discount you may wait and buy a MAX TIER house.

You may wait a bit before buying a house because you need to know the game well to see how you wanna play and optimize its location , related to your gameplay style.

TERRITORY REPUTATION

As we cant reset it yet and we don't know if we couldi would recommand focus on optimizing endgame so you may take these bonus as your territory standing rank up.

1. STORAGE SPACE ALWAYS

2.TAXES OF ANY KIND REDUCTION

3. GATHERING SPEED IN TERRITORY (more valuable in HIGH level zones)

4. More item space in house is good to, always take it when it shows up

ALWAYS AVOID ANY KIND OF XP GAIN, IT WILL BE LOST LEVELS AT MAX LEVEL AND YOULL FEEL LIKE YOUR CHARACTER IS SCREWED.

AZOTH AND ITS MANAGEMENT.

Azoth is something you got for free doing several activities in the game, its capped to 1000 , and it's a currency used for fast traveling from town to town or specific fast traveling Altars located in the game.

I WOULD RECOMMAND NOT GETTING UNDER 600/1000 AZOTH ALL THE time.

Try to play without over using it or you'll get bored pretty quick, i usually stay between 800-1000.

CHAT GESTION

To see Direct messages from player and everything, stay on the Feed channel, that includes everything, or you'll can miss request of people of any kind not seeing it.

FISHING QUEST ARC AND FISHING GEAR.

KEEP YOUR FISHING GEAR IN A STORAGE EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE FISHING!!!!!!!
