Things That Should Be Known | Beginner And Experience

New World Information:

________________________________________________________________

Fast Traveling: The amount of Azoth used is based on weight. Less weight = Less Azoth used

Trade Post: When you sell items, you don't go back to collect them. It will automatically go to your wallet.

Tools: Work on skills to upgrade tools. Don't spend Gold loosely on metal tools. I've seen plenty of players that are higher levels than me using flint tools. Click K and go to Trade skills. Each one will show what level you need to make/ harvest an item.

Stuck/Unable to move: Click [ESC] to where it would show you tabs for your character, skills, etc. Click the main menu tab and click unstuck. The game will move you to a near spot with space.

Gold: This is the currency for the game. While it is used in everything, it should not be spent loosely. Missions, caches, and some kills give small amounts of gold. So work on making Gold through grinding before spending at Trade Post.

Combat: Stamina is used when blocking when fighting an enemy when they Turn White this is a heavy attack. It's better to dodge than block as this will drain more stamina than their normal attack. If stamina, for you, is broken, it will stun your character for a moment.

Map/Land Perks: When you do missions, faction missions, killing enemies, crafting, etc. You will soon gain a perk for that section of land. Never go for boost exp perk! Because, in the end, it does very little. As you need to think of things that would affect you the most like Harvest amount, Taxes, and Storage space.

Communication: V is voice chat, and ENTER is Text Chat. Press [ESC] to the left to show the type of chats. Feed(Shows Everything), Global, Area, Help, Recruitment, Factions, Company, and Direct message.

Corrupted Zone: On the map are red symbols marking corruption events, but an Azoth staff is need for these areas and mostly a team. If approached without an Azoth staff, you will be immediately killed(Experienced).

Fishing: Bait is not needed to fish, it just alters the chances of catching the size of Fish you want.

Equip Items: When you gain an item, you can equip it but this prevents you from selling it. The only option would be to Salvage. Only if you just gain but not equip the item can you sell it.

Repair: Repair Kits do exist but you need to level up your skills to make it and have a crafting mod to sacrifice. The other option is to use Salvage parts and little pieces of Gold. So if you gain an Item you don't want but can't sell, Salvage it. Salvage gives Parts and some gold.

Campfire: These help the player making items on the road, it also works as a respawn point but you can go out of range for it. If you see a symbol with a Caution Red Fire Symbol, you're out of Range.

P.S. : When upgrading to Campfire Tier 2, you need to do a Certain survival mission "Friends in Fashion". Need to be Level 15. Other Campfires upgrades will be based on missions.

Campfire Tier 3:

Quest: Animals Instincts.

Location: Right outside Cutlass Keys town down the road

Inns: They are Default Respawn points, you can Fast travel to the one you register (Only one at a time) but it takes a 60 minute/ 1 Hour recharge.

Fast Travel Point: They are scattered across the map and let you travel to Settlements (Inns) and other Travel points. Distance affects Azoth Cost

Skill Upgrading (Craft): When trying to craft items to upgrade a certain craft skill level, look to the right of the item you will craft, a symbol will show what the craft Exp will contribute to. Some items will be counted to other craft skills so make sure.

Tracking: When you upgrade a Skill enough you can track certain materials, these will appear in your compass( Top the Screen). It would have to be within close range but is helpful. Some tracks can even show on the map (Example: Magical Plants)

Factions: There are Three Factions: Covenant = Yellow, Syndicate = Purple, and Marauder = Green. Factions play on taxes and wars within the land. Each Faction gives missions to upgrade reputation within that faction. Factions allow you to buy certain items from the faction on certain levels based on amount of Reputation, Points and Gold.

Emotes: Keyboard P
