How to use the "cheatmenu"

How To Enable Cheats.

When you start up the game a little window pops up with word "Configure" in red on it. The first tab called "Game" in this tab the enable cheat option appears, check it and you are good to go.

The Command Line And How To Use It.

When you are in game, use Shift + ½ or tilde key as its also called, then type the following: cheatmenu then press enter, if the sound that you hear typically when closing inventory and other windows appear, that tiny "thump" sound after hitting enter you know the cheat has been enabled.

Some Of The Bad Features The Cheatmenu Enables.

Once the cheatmenu is active alot of text will happen in the event text that usually show when a lord gets captured and so forth, will now show alot of text that you are supposed to see like when the game is calculating the respect and affection from all the different lords and ladys in the world. Many times a message will pop up that says that x lord has changed x amount of affection towards another person, this will happen alot as there is alot of persons in world so be careful to use the cheatmenu and the fast foward cheat (ctrl + space) at the same as the huge amount of massages that swarms through will make the game lagg.

All those messages aren't always short either, some of them can easyly last 2 or 3 lines long and it will take up alot of space of the screen, effectively blocking conversation options and so on.

The Good Features The Cheatmenu Enables.

Now i have talked about the bad things and now its time to talk about the various good things you can do.

Improving relations with lords:

with the cheatmenu enabled, when you talk to a lord/lady there with be another conversation option that says CHEAT - take the following action. this option for lords does thing like improving relations all the way up to 100 (this applies to kings for instant vasselage as well) as well as making them follow you or another party arounf the map, you can also tell the king to make you the marshall and all the commands you can tell your lord when you're king can be apllied to anyone at any time when using the cheatmenu.

Now for the weapons and armor:

In order to acces all the game's weapons and armor you have to be on the map, then enter your camp and from there you hit CHEAT MENU option. In there you can increase your renown and honor as well as change the weather. Now the top option is called "find item" from there you will enter different categories, each category has a number of items from the game in them, everything from the bride dress to the tournament helmet as well as the samurai sword can be found in the 8 or so categories.

Insta-capturing castles and towns:

Yes you can do that as well, when you enter a castle or town then press besige like normal then you will notice different options has appeared the two options are instant build siege equipment and instant conquer respectably which do exactly that.

It also works on neutral castles and towns the the only change is the the besige options ins't there instead beneath the option to leave the town you will find the CHEAT - besiege the town option, and from there you can insta conquer it.

Final Notes.

So ther you have it, you can now do whatever you want with calradia and its residents, if you have any questions feel free to ask them although i might not be able to help but i'll do my best, like if the tilde key doesn't work try other keys like (' ¨+)

Also the cheatmenu works on mods as well but be wary that mods usually aren't as stable as vanilla so use caution when using it on mods.
