Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe Edition Naming the Dead

Introduction

I've always had difficulty remembering were to find the deceased colonists on Eos for the task Naming the Dead. Hence this guide for anyone else who is struggling to find them.

There are a total of seven deceased colonists you need to find for this task. There is one at site 1, three at site 2, and one at each monolith. All of them can be found before you clear the atmospheric radiation from the planet.

Site 1

The deceased colonist at site one can be found near Clancy's shuttle. First find his shuttle and then turn around face the the nearby buildings. The colonist is just to the right of a circular storage building.

Site 2

There are a total of three deceased colonists at Site 2. The first two are inside the radiation shields, while the third is outside the radiation shields.

For the first colonist, find the Kett shield devices by the largest building. The dead Turian is on the ground between the kinetic barriers and the building.

From the first colonist, go around the building to the right and up the stairs to the second floor. The dead Asari is on the walkway.

Finally, from the Asari look over the building for the yellow transports. The building with the imprisoned Fiend should be on your right.

Go outside the radiation shielded area, the dead human is on the ground.

Monolith 1

At the first monolith where you first encounter Peebee , look near the tracks running through the sand inside the radiation shield. The deceased colonist is on the left hand side of the "road".

Monolith 2

At the second monolith, assuming you are travelling counter clockwise around the lake, you will find multiple bodies. Only a specific one needs to be scanned. From the path up, keep going past the interface terminal to find the correct corpse. In the image, it is the one the targeting recticle is on.

Monolith 3

The final monolith you come to is over run by the Kett. First, clear them out then lower the shields to get inside the Kett command center. After the cutscene, the one with Drakk, go into the room now available and look right. The final colonist is on a Kett examination table. You can also listen to the Kett recording on the terminal to the left of the deceased.

Final Comments

Some may be wondering about the corpse near the shelter encountered by the forward station near monolith 2. The one overlooking the site for Prodromos. Based on my experience, this corpse is not required for the task. More specifically, it doesn't increment the task completion meter.

Once you have escaped the vault and founded the outpost, find the majordomo in one of the buildings. If you have found all the deceased colonists, a conversation option will be available in which he points out that there are still colonists unaccounted for. You will need to find four locations, one of which is in the tier 3 radiation area. Once the radiation has cleared, you can return to Eos to finish this task.
