[Arena Mode] Chaos & Order Guide (Custom Origins / Gameplay-tips)

About The Chaos & Order Mod Pack

The "Chaos & Order" mod pack is made for players who have enjoyed all the Arena-mode content, and wish there were more.

The mod pack adds 6 custom origins that have unique abilities according to their skill focus & playstyle.

Custom Origins

Nearly all of these custom origins are centered around solo-runs & madness difficulty runs, as they are basically made as end-game content.

Some origins are strong from the start to the end, while some have a much steeper learning curve(like the Gunslinger). But once you have a hang of it, you will feel the sheer amount of power hidden in every origin.

All origins have high imprint restrictions(between 5 ~ 10 imprints), but all of them start with far greater stat points. Some even start with unlocked skills, which cannot be obtained because of their skill focus & weakness.

"Crazed Carnivore"

⁜⁜ INTRODUCTION ⁜⁜

Originally posted by May: The "Carnivore" is an unarmed-centered origin that can stack up combo meters incredibly fast, meaning your attacks only get stronger and quicker as you hold your ground. Every unarmed/melee attack will be filled with extreme violence, while your character becomes this crazy lunatic running on four paws.

And yeah, don't forget to feed the cat.

Special Bonuses :

1. (Passive) +50% health recharge.

2. (Passive) Very high unarmed damage multiplier & piercing

3. (Passive) Resistant to stun attacks

4. (Passive) +35% Unarmed speed

Special Skills :

1. Charge-up attacks(unarmed & melee) only work as Massive's first charge attack. But it always starts a powerful explosion from the start.

2. Normal melee swings can deal damage to a crowd of enemies, and even two-hand weapons are swung much faster.

3. Canceling a Charge-up attack(right after the explosion) will change your dash attack into a special spin attack.

4. Canceling a Charge-up attack(right after the explosion) and dashing into enemies will stun them(if they have the same size as you).

5. Faster kick(shove).

6. Takedowns don't kill enemies, but are much quicker and still deal huge amounts of damage

7. Your shoves and kicks deal more knockback

8. Your unarmed/melee attacks are uncounterable, meaning you won't get stunned by enemy blocks

Drawback :

1. +50% electric damage received

2. -20% cash bonus each wave

┗ Carnivore Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. Carnivore starts up with 3 end-game acrobatic skills unlocked, which are "HeadLeap", "Throw Big Weapons", and "Lawnmower". Farm acrobatic XP quickly until you get the "Snap-Dodge" skill which is extremely useful for Carnivore.

2. Unarmed attacks are already powerful. Additional fist armor might not be useful in the end-game, as you end up killing enemies before they even get dazed. Remember, "more takedowns = more time to heal".

3. Heavy unarmed attacks have a higher daze chance. Use them when you start stacking your combo meter. After you reach a combo over 40, it's much better to use normal attacks if you have the "Stunning Fist" skill.

4. If you are using unarmed attacks, it's much better to stick right next to enemies(I mean, face to face, right next to them). Other enemies will shoot you way less than usual, even though they are far away enough.

5. Unlike Massive's charge-up attack, Carnivore's charge-up attack has a fixed distance, meaning even you put your curser near you, you'll be stopped by an invisible wall once you've reached max distance.

"Prepared Coffin" Tips & Tricks

[Arena Mode] Chaos & Order Guide (Custom Origins / Gameplay-tips) image 51

⁜⁜ INTRODUCTION ⁜⁜

Originally posted by May: The "Coffin" is a ranged-centered origin that can spam non-auto guns as fast as a machine gun. You'll have to control your recoil every now and then while keeping your distance against enemies that swarm around you.

With the never-ending ammo, and the almost instant reloading & shooting, you'll gonna have a fun time with your favorite gun.

Special Bonuses :

1. (Passive) +120% Tactics(reload speed)

2. (Passive) +80% Non_Auto Fire Rate

3. (Passive) +50% Cash bonus for each wave

Special Skills :

1. Unlimited Ammo.

2. Faster kick(shove)

3. Very fast unarmed attacks that start with a double jab(Hank style).

4. Full dodge is changed to a dig-dodge, making you invincible while underground

5. Shooting reloading enemies will disarm them

Drawback :

1. -60% Tac Defense

2. Full dodge takes away a single gun every time. The end of each dodge is pretty random too.

┗ Coffin Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. While you are underground(by full dodge), you are immune to all stun and knockback with short-time invincibility. However, you'll lose a single ranged weapon if you are holding one. Melee weapons don't count though.

2. Although spamming is great, it is much better if you take some time for each shot to maintain your aim. Also, enemies' tac-bar still has an effect on them until the bar is fully depleted, so it could be better to wait out the depletion after you've dealt enough damage.

3. Hooks and boomerangs still work even if you dig underground, and will drag enemies/come back to you no matter where you are.

4. Your unarmed attacks are much faster than melee weapons, so it would be better to use your fists against G03LMs to take their helmets off.

5. Coffin has a hidden skill called "Disarming shot" that allows him to disarm enemies who are reloading their weapons. He also has some basic ranged skills unlocked from the start.

"Last Samurai" Tips & Tricks

[Arena Mode] Chaos & Order Guide (Custom Origins / Gameplay-tips) image 85

⁜⁜ INTRODUCTION ⁜⁜

Originally posted by May: The "Samurai" is a melee-centered origin that can deal DEADLY damage to groups of enemies with a single swing of a blade. Using corners and charge-up cancels are key for this origin.

Once you feel the rhythm of each charge-up, your DPS will skyrocket through the roof.

Special Bonuses :

1. (Passive) +100% Slash weapon damage

2. (Passive) +30% Critical sub-stat

3. (Passive) Resistant to all stuns & knockdown

Special Skills :

1. Infinite durability for all melee weapons as long as you are holding them

2. You can dual wield any weapon(melee/ranged) once you've unlocked the corresponding skills

3. You can teleport close to enemies when swinging a melee weapon, also with charge-up attacks

4. Standing up from ragdolls deal damage to enemies that are standing right above you

5. You can now swing a two-handed melee weapon like you swing a normal longsword

Drawback :

1. -35% Move speed

2. -50% Ranged damage done

┗ Samurai Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. "Critical + High damage melee weapon(bladed) + Charge-up attacks". Combine these three factors well, and you can deal over 100 damage in a single swing.

2. Charge-up attacks always bypass enemy guards & shield blocks. Melee charge-up attacks can also bypass G03LM armor if you have the right stats.

3. Use corners wisely. Since most ranged-weapon-wielding enemies will try to run away from you, let them come to you instead.

4. For some reason, your teleport skill will not work if you dual-wield huge melee weapons. But, your charge-up attack range will be significantly larger, especially the 2nd charge-up attack.

5. You are also able to dual-wield huge ranged weapons. Although they won't be that effective due to your ranged damage drawback.

6. You start with Melee core 1 & 2 skills unlocked, meaning you have 3 whole corpuses from the beginning. Going to your main menu and load your save again will make you get those 3 corpuses.

7. The samurai origin doesn't have a huge-weapon-specific charge-up attack, meaning you can swing a huge melee weapon like a normal weapon.

"Dead Gunslinger" Tips & Tricks

[Arena Mode] Chaos & Order Guide (Custom Origins / Gameplay-tips) image 125

⁜⁜ INTRODUCTION ⁜⁜

Originally posted by May: The "Gunslinger" is a throw-centered origin that can maximize every ranged weapon's potential, while using any melee weapon like a boomerang. Oftentimes, you'll have to dangerously slip through pursuing enemies, while constantly switching & throwing all kinds of attack at them.

Yes, this is probably the origin that has the steepest learning curve, and which also requires the most game sense.

Special Bonuses :

1. (Passive) +33% Non_auto fire rate

2. (Passive) +70% Recoil Recovery

Special Skills :

1. Every ranged shot ignores ANY tac-bar the enemy has, and deals full crit damage even outside your sweet spot

2. You can pick up weapons/objects from long distances(telekinesis power)

3. Charge-up attack is changed to a 5-combo claw attack, which lets you zip across the map in an instance

4. Your body doesn't collide with enemies/allies, meaning you can pass through them like a ghost

5. Takedowns against dazed enemies will heal one of your broken corpus

6. Killing enemies sometimes brings them back from the dead as a friendly ghost

7. All of your throwable weapons pass through enemies if killing them. Also your Lawnmower skill applies to all melee weapons

Drawback :

1. +100% longer stun recovery

2. -99% melee damage

3. You can only Snap Dodge instead of a normal full dodge

4. Your unarmed attacks now suck balls

┗ Gunslinger Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. The Gunslinger ignores all tac-bar with ranged weapons. This means every ranged-weapon in the game can be useful if you are using it.

2. As a Gunslinger, the Crossbows are a good weapon choice. The prices are extremely cheap, each shots deal good damage, and all of them have fair amount of ammo. The "Spreadshot crossbow" will be the best choice.

3. You are a ghost, which means you can pass through enemies. Some enemy attacks cannot even harm you at all, especially Half-Mag's charge-up punch.

4. Although it can be difficult, you can break out from an enemy stun by snap-dodging out of it. Just get the timing right, you'll get used to it.

5. Use hirelings. It will be easier to farm unarmed/melee xp, as they can protect you everywhere.

6. The Gunslinger can be a very good sniper origin. Maybe try sniping some cool shots while your hirelings take all the aggro

"Great Conqueror" Tips & Tricks

⁜⁜ INTRODUCTION ⁜⁜

Originally posted by May: The "Conqueror" is an acrobat-centered origin that can easily knock down enemies, while punishing them with a devastating electric pulse. It can also have lots of insta-kill capabilities.

If you thought M:PN didn't have much gore compared to M:PN Classic before, wait til you see 15 enemies' heads pop up like popcorn all at once.

Special Bonuses :

1. (Passive) +50% Blunt-type damage

2. (Passive) +20% Strength stat

3. (Passive) Scares enemies away whenever a gore kill happens.

Special Skills :

1. Standing up from a ragdoll /or getting angry leads to a powerful electric pulse

2. Infinite durability for all melee weapons as long as you are holding them

3. You can teleport close to enemies when swinging a melee weapon

4. You can swing normal/huge melee weapons much faster(Hank style)

5. Your base unarmed attacks are changed into a grab, which will end up throwing a normal-sized enemy if you win the mash-up

6. Your dash attacks are changed into a grab, which will end up throwing a normal-sized enemy without any mash-up

7. Your grab attacks can insta-takedown enemies that are much bigger than you

8. Unarmed/Melee charge-up attacks are changed into Jebus's energy burst

9. Faster kick(shove)

10. You can knock down enemies that are smaller than you just by dashing into them

11. Using dash attacks right above knocked-down enemies leads to an insta-kill/insta takedown

Drawback :

1. The only way of getting unarmed xp is by using counter-attacks, kicks, and unarmed takedown kills, which all of them take a lot of time compared to other attacks.

┗ Conqueror Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. High "Strength & Tactics" stats will make your shield-bash attack very strong. You will be able to kill a lot of enemies with a single crit shield-bash.

2. Conqueror has a unique charge-up attack(Jeb's charge-up), which has a much longer charge preparation time than other attacks. It's better to use it behind corners, so you won't be getting shot in the face(you can preserve your charge-up attack infinitely by holding Ctrl).

3. You can knock enemies just by dashing into them! Most enemies are slightly smaller than you, so you will be able to knock them like bowling pins.

4. Ragdoll-ing("K" button) will force your character to stand up, resulting in a powerful explosion.

5. You can get unarmed xp by countering enemy unarmed/melee attacks, which is pretty challenging, but still doable.

6. The "SHIELD" is your go-2-weapon with this origin. You can bait enemies to pull out your anger attack, teleport-bash, close in for an insta-kill, or even shotgun-blast in their face!

Oh, did you have fun playing as Tinkerer? Well, this abomination is Tinkerer multiplied by four. Seriously, that's how overpowered the origin is.

Special Bonuses :

1. 130 Base health.

2. (Passive) +25% Explosive damage dealt

3. (Passive) +20 Extra magazines

4. (Passive) Full immunity against stun & knockdowns

Special Skills :

1. You can mod most ranged weapons to your liking, by using the workbench

2. You can dual wield any weapon, with the right skills unlocked

3. Your charge-up attacks(unarmed/melee) are changed into Massive's charge-ups, meaning you can reach unreachable places with the second charge-up jump

4. Canceling your first Charge-up attack(right after the attack) will change your dash attack into a special grab that leads to an instant takedown

5. Canceling a Charge-up attack(right after the attack) and dashing into enemies will stun them(if they have a smaller size than you)

6. You can abuse the partial akimbo trick to kill your last remaining brain cells and go all mayhem

Drawback :

1. +900% electric damage received

2. Snap turning is no longer available, meaning you cannot make that 180-degree instant turn anymore

3. Longer stun duration while falling from high places

4. You can only do shove attacks, even if you've unlocked the kick attack

5. Your normal unarmed & melee attacks are pretty bad

6. You can only snap dodge rather than a full dodge

┗ Fortress Tips & Tricks

Tips that might be useful for your game

1. Your second charge-up attack lets you jump onto high places that cannot be reached normally. Use it to your advantage.

2. You have full immunity against all knockdowns. Feel free to bombard enemies with those explosives, please.

3. Most armor messes up your look. The Car door armor doesn't though.

4. I like pizza.

5. Since you cannot instantly turn around, it's better to corner yourself in one place than to face enemies that come from both sides.

6. Enemies that hold electric weapons are DANGEROUS to you. Watch out.

7. Try partial-akimbo. A huge melee weapon in one hand, and a modded gun in another. You'll understand the true meaning of "overpowered".
