Schicksal is one of the two main organizations that lead the fight against the Honkai, established in the fifth century and has been active ever since. Unlike its rival organization based on North America, Schicksal's influence is far greater and extends over its homeland.

The organization is currently led by Otto Apocalypse and is based on Europe.

In 1470, Schicksal stood as the largest anti-Honkai entity in the world. Schicksal was able to spread itself far by offering “protection” from the Honkai to various European countries such as their capital Vienna. However, after gaining a lot of power, the Overseer of Schicksal started changing his empire. Schicksal became consumed by corruption and greed instead of selflessness and kindness. In this state, Schicksal started aiming its goals towards conquering more and more land. This goal brought them to conflict with the armies of Ming in Shenzou.

𝓜𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓪 𝓢𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂

Elan Palatinus

In 1475, the Battle of Shenzhou had started and the forces of Schicksal and Ming fought each other on Kipchak Steppe. Initially evenly matched, Schicksal soon brought out weapons powered by Honkai, and made the Schicksal Army much more powerful. However, using these weapons did lead to lethal Honkai infection. The Ming army was almost defeated, when they brought out their secret weapon—a being known as the "Immortal Celestial”.

This being had many legends surrounding her, but the Schicksal armies were unfazed and tried to kill her. They failed, as The Celestial used Fenghuang Down. Schicksal decided to bring out their own Legend—Kallen Kaslana, who wielded a Divine Key known as the Oath of Judah. However, Kallen failed as well. The battle ended with Schicksal’s total defeat and the crusaders went back to Europe afterwards.

To pay for their losses, Schicksal began selling required “indulgences”, which “absolved the buyer of their mortal sins”. Due to this, the people of Western Europe began to hate Schicksal. One priest even tries to kidnap a woman’s child, but is stopped by Otto Apocalypse and Kallen. Shortly after, Schicksal guards arrest Shakespeare for slander.

Schicksal also kidnapped many young girls, experimenting on them to try and open a mysterious black box, which holds great power, and apparently a cure for the again rising plague. When the Overseer opens the black box, Kallen invades, stopping him and stealing the box.

𝓜𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓼

The Three Houses

Within the organization exists the Three Noble Houses or the Branch Families. They bear the highest prestige and respect from its members, and those belonging to these three families are often the strongest and most powerful combatants against the Honkai.

House Schariac

The Schariac have excellent control over Honkai energies, and its fighters mainly consisted of women. Their role in Schicksal is the "Divine Maiden".

House Kaslana

The Kaslana were born with excellent resistance against the Honkai, a parallel of the Schariac. Its fighters mainly consisted of men, and its patriarchs are often considered the most powerful members of the lineage. Their role in Schicksal is the "Knight".

House Apocalypse

The Apocalypse that govern Schicksal completely lack strength and power to fight against the Honkai, unlike the Schariac or the Kaslana., and instead only govern the organization and facilitate its activities with their intelligence. Their role in Schicksal is the "Overseer".

Valkyries

Valkyries and Knights are powerful warriors and the main combat power of Schicksal against the Honkai.

In 1955, tensions between Schicksal and its North American branch were high. This branch was on the cusp of a huge discovery, but was stopped by Otto Apocalypse himself.

After the battle of New York, Frederica Tesla, Emma Planck, and Lieserl Einstein founded an organization called Anti-Entropy. Nancy Edison, Elias Nokianvirtanen, and Welt Joyce are also counted as founders, despite their deaths being before the actual founding. Erwin Schrodinger is also a part of Anti-Entropy, despite being in the Sea of Quanta for a long time.

After running away from the massive responsibility, eventually Welt Yang became its leader. They want to get rid of Honkai and protect humanity just as Schicksal claims to want to do. However, Anti-Entropy refuses to use Valkyries, and opts for mechs instead. It also acts in secrecy, as it is labeled as a terrorist organization by Schicksal.

𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓹𝓮𝓷𝓽

World Serpent is an organization founded by Gray Serpent following the will of Mobius, and is currently led by Kevin Kaslana. Its objective is to initiate Project STIGMA. World Serpent, unlike Schicksal and Anti-Entropy, works secretively.

It has spies planted in Anti-Entropy and Schicksal, and possesses the most technology from the Previous Era. It is noted that all of its high-ranking officers have a codename based on an animal.

Fire Moth (AKA The Moth Who Chases The Flames, Moth as an acronym for Myrmidons of Taskforce Honkai) was a worldwide Anti-Honkai organization from the Previous Era, with technologies surpassing what even the Current Era could only dream of.

Fire Moth used Honkai powered weapons along with genetically edited and strengthened soldiers called MANTISes to fight the Honkai, being led by Dr. MEI. Unfortunately, the Honkai wiped them out, only leaving fragments of the technologies and legacies for the Current Era to use.

Pre-ICHOR Honkai Eruptions

During the 3rd Honkai Eruption of the Previous Era, Kevin Kaslana and MEI ran into a man dressed in black who was affiliated with Fire Moth. This man was sent by Fire Moth to invite MEI into the organization as a researcher, due to them reading her published paper on Quantum Mechanics. Fire Moth was impressed, seeing her as one of the best minds they'd ever seen. Kevin, refusing to be separated from MEI, also joined Fire Moth as a soldier.

Thereafter, between the 4th and 6th Honkai Eruptions, Fire Moth relentlessly scouted survivors to recruit as soldiers. During the time of another Eruption, Fu Hua was also found by Captain HIMEKO of Fire Moth's Squad V.

The ICHOR Project and the 7th Herrscher

3 years after the 3rd Honkai Eruption, shortly after Fire Moth defeated the 6th Herrscher, Captain HIMEKO was corrupted by the Honkai and became the 7th Herrscher, the Herrscher of Fire. She was formidable, more destructive than the others before her, leaving everyone in Squad V dead except for Fu Hua, who managed to survive. In order to counter the 7th Herrscher, DR. MEI proposed the Soldier Project.

The Soldier Project detailed extracting DNA from Emperor class Honkai Beasts, and inserting them into humans to grant them abilities surpassing humanity and a stronger Honkai resistance. These genetically edited humans would be called MANTIS, an acronym for Massively Augmented Neo-Tech Integrated Soldiers. In order to adapt to the beast's genes, the human would also need to take a gene construct called ICHOR, designed to help human capability.

The pain and extreme damage from the ICHOR would be, however, irreversible. Kevin, who had risen to be one of Fire Moth's best soldiers, volunteered as a test subject. The ICHOR surgery was a success, and Kevin then led Fire Moth in the fight against the 7th Herrscher. Fire Moth came out triumphant, with ice piercing the 7th Herrscher. However, Kevin was strongly affected by the ICHOR, which lowered his average body temperature to -30° Celsius. Eden had been performing in Australia at the time, with very few people surviving among her audience after the disaster. She then signed up to join the MOTHs, and eventually became a MANTIS.

Post ICHOR Project Honkai Eruptions

6 months after the 7th eruption, Su joined the MOTHs after spending months attempting to persuade a MOTH researcher. A few months after that, as he became a MANTIS, the 8th Herrscher awakened. The 8th Herrscher caused over 2 million people to die, and ended up possessing Paul Long. Luckily, the 8th Herrscher was found and defeated thanks to the time Su bought by incapacitating it alongside his teacher, who had unfortunately died.

After a few months, the 9th Herrscher was awakened. The 9th Herrscher created a blackhole that swallowed the continent of Mu, leading 1/6 of the world's population to be gone. One of the cities was transported into the Sea of Quanta by Professor EINSTEIN. The ELFs were transported with the city too and the city became a small bubble itself within the Sea. The people couldn't survive due to high Honkai energy levels, and so it became a city of ELFs. Kevin managed to solo this Herrscher using the Judgment Of Shamash.

The 10th Herrscher and the Keys of Domination

6 months later, the 10th Herrscher made their appearance, when 1000 individuals turned into Herrschers, each individually much weaker than previous Herrschers. The first noted case was when MEI and Kevin were attacked by a restaurant chef who had gone invisible. Many more cases were found and reported globally with people acting unusually and manipulating some sort of element. Finally, when a member of the MOTHs was infected, routine Honkai energy level monitoring and checkups were held. Despite their weaknesses, they managed to cause a lot of destruction and havoc due to their numbers and ridiculously coordinated assaults. Dr. MEI created the Key of Blankness, a Divine Key that took the form of a battlesuit that allowed its user to gain power equivalent to that of a Herrscher. Tricking the Herrscher by falsely saying that the armour wasn't complete, MEI along with Kevin then slaughtered the remainder of the Herrscher's forces. MEI inserted or linked each Herrscher Core that the MOTHs had in their possession to the suit, gaining enough power to slaughter the 1000 individuals. Each time a new Core was used, the usage time decreased due to MEI's declining health. Finally, she took Kevin's Judgment Of Shamash, resonating with its Core of Fire to kill the remaining Herrscher units.

6 months after the 10th Herrscher, Dr. MEI initiates a secret experiment. The squad members taking part in the experiment believed it was a trial for the 10th Divine Keys, but in reality, it was to create more MANTISes using ICHOR. The experiment included Fu Hua who had been shunned by other soldiers due to everyone believing she was an aide to the 7th Herrscher, who was her teacher HIMEKO. She had been nicknamed the Fyrewytch's Little Birdie. The soldiers were extremely excited, and no Emperor-class Honkai beasts had apparently been detected using their radars. As the soldiers descended to the battlefield, they realised that they had been left to die: they were faced by the Emperor-class Honkai beast, Ganesha. Despite possessing the 10th Divine Keys, almost the entire assault squad had been annihilated except for Fu Hua, who had been doing recon elsewhere, unaware of Ganesha's appearance. As she attacked Ganesha, she was badly wounded and lost the fight. On the verge of death, she saw HIMEKO appear as if to take her to the afterlife, but then she remembered the image of HIMEKO being impaled by Kevin's icicles. Finally regaining the will to fight , and wishing to know why her saviour became a puppet of evil, Fu Hua's Metamorph ICHOR activated, and the broken 10th Divine Key in her hand morphed into a new form as a pair of gauntlets. She sprouted the wings of a Honkai beast from her back and defeated Ganesha, thus MEI made a breakthrough in ICHOR research which would allow her to mass manufacture MANTIS units.

The 11th Herrscher

A few months after the MOTHs had used the Keys of Domination to awaken a massive number of MANTISes, the 11th Herrscher struck. She had the ability to create an anti-Honkai field, which could stop bioelectric and Honkai energy impulses within its radius. She killed 90% of all MANTIS soldiers, leaving barely 13 alive. Fu Hua used Fenghuang Down to incapacitate the Herrscher, giving Kevin the opportunity to kill her. As people mourned the loss of so many MANTIS soldiers, everyone looked at the bloodstained ice left by Kevin, partially blaming him. Kevin then pulled Kalpas out of the rubble, finding him to be, surprisingly, still alive. The 11th Herrscher's body was mounted on a cross as if to crucify her. This made the MOTHs believe that the Honkai is a sinister force and had created the 11th as a response to technological enhancement, and as thus, they started calling this sentient Honkai "being" the Will of the Honkai.

The 12th Herrscher

One day during a meeting, Elysia, who was supposed to canvas an area 300km away, returned unexpectedly while SAKURA was speaking with Mobius. Whispering in SAKURA's ear, Elysia revealed that the 12th Herrscher was RIN, SAKURA's little sister. The 12th never struck, and RIN was imprisoned within Fire Moth's facility, with SAKURA being temporarily decommisioned due to her close involvement. She refused to accept her sister's corruption and broke into the facility. Meanwhile, the MOTHs were afraid of RIN, and decided to kill the captured Herrscher to end this dilemma. The little girl's death triggered the awakening of the 12th Herrscher, and it turned into a sentient virus, killing and zombifying the human soldiers inside the facility. As SAKURA confronted RIN, the Herrscher temporarily stopped, but then continued on its path of destruction, killing SAKURA as a result. Fu Hua then used Fenghuang Down to protect humans from the Herrscher, but forgot to lock access to the computers. The Herrscher then activated all the missiles present in Fire Moth's silos as a last-ditch effort, destroying the last 3 human cities. MEI then lured and capturd the 12th Herrscher in a box, which was later obtained by Schicksal.

The Final Herrscher

The Final Herrscher descended after all the other Herrschers were defeated. Fire Moth sent 8 powerful MANTIS soldiers to buy time for humanity by confronting and fighting it upon the moon. However, the Final Herrscher quickly overpowered the warriors, killing 2 of them in process. By order of Dr. MEI, the Selene was brought into lower orbit used on the Final Herrscher, however the shot only dissipate 2% of its Honkai energy reserves, making Dr. MEI remove every limiter present on the Selene. The supercharged shot succeeded to weaken the Final Herrscher and allow Kevin Kaslana to deal a blow to them, temporarily immobilizing the Herrscher.

Cocoon

Cocoon was a branch of the Fire Moth focused on fighting with humans. The members included SAKURA, Kalpas and even Dr. Mobius. At some point, the branch was disbanded and SAKURA was ordered by Dr. MEI to "clean up" its remainders.

𝓜𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓼

𝓢𝓾𝓰𝓪𝓻𝓼

The Sugars are an alien organization whose goal is to stop the Sky People. They were once attacked by the Sky People. After their home planet was taken over, they decided to abandon their physical bodies and revert to a psychic form. Using the Alien Key and their Sugars Fortress, they stay in a higher dimension. They take on the appearance of little puff balls.

It is apparently customary for them to find a human partner and assist in their endeavor of defeating invading forces or the Honkai. When assisting a human partner, they can lend their immense power and semi-immortality due to immense cellular regeneration power.

They were bonded to humans such as Schicksal A-Rank Valkyrie Shub Niggurath and Murata Ryusuke, Schicksal Lab Director and father of Murata Himeko.

After the death of Shub Niggurath, her partner Sugar Molass attached herself to the dying Valkyrie Shigure Kira: pulling her into the Sea of Quanta to save her life. Eventually they land in the same bubble universe, that is later absorbed by Durandal.

Whenever a human visits the Sugars' Fortress, they assume the form of the sugars. They also retain any powers they normally exhibit.

After Ryusuke Murata killed his partner Sugar (Peppermint), and has the Alien Key destroyed, they decide to leave Earth due to fear of being abused and found. This betrayal is 5 years after the death of Shub Niggurath and Shigure Kira being pulled into the SoQ.
