How To Play Faust: Introduction

Figuring out what you have might not be quite as hard as you think: we simply take items that are already in your guilty gear, in the inventory of a player that isn’t currently in your party, like for example Faust from Cairn to Faust from Bower to Faust in Howlscar. Or even your training sword and your training sword from lance to lance. But here you do not just take the items that were in your guilty gear but also the monsters you kill from guilty gear. All of that stuff is already in your inventory but you can only have it from your guilty gear. I haven’t played all the quests yet so if this is an issue, suffer

Fausts Playstyle

Faust is a zoner, this means that he plays differently to other characters. He may stand in one place, move, or use items depending on the situation. So we can change the animations and effects of a character using macros.

To install macros and customize skills go to the setup folder and create a new folder with the name of the character that you want to use it for. After the character is set up to use that particular item you can then apply that item with a simple text editor. For example, to change the skill cooldown for Faust you would create the following macro (further down we’ll show you how to use a step delay, a step speed, and how to change the animation) and adjust the size, speed, duration, and any items the skill can be attached to as well as create effects to your own. The key here is to experiment and create your own combinations.

Note that you can’t change any keys with Faust using standard editing methods. To modify keys you would use the ‘Modify Key’ modifier.

Faust likes to stand in the enemy’s face, give him a good sword stroke and watch the horror spill out as he strikes the heart.

Faust by force gives a false sense of confidence to the opponent and gives an urge to charge at them, but he may just strike them on the head instead.

Again, the key here is to experiment and try different combinations to make the character as unique as you can.

Important Combos To Know For Faust

some important combos that you should know for Faust are:

The 3x Faust + 1x Heavy slash Combo

This combo is done by pressing a heavy slash on the left analog stick and then pressing a proper magic shield or monster punch on the right analog stick

The 1x Faust + 1x Balanced Slash Combo

This combo is done by pressing a balanced slash on the left stick and then pressing a heavy slash on the right stick

The 1x Faust + 1x Heavy Slash Combo + Overall Combo

This combo is done by pressing the one melee button (x1)

Now press the one second combo button (ESP + CMB + BKB)

The 3x Faust + 1x Item Combo

This combo is done by pressing 1x attack once and then pressing the same button over and over until you enter the item immunity stance

3x Faust + 1x Item + 1 1/2 Meter

This combo is done by pressing 1x attack and pressing the item ability and the analog input for super item

The 5x Faust + 1x Item Combo + Overall Combo

This combo is done by pressing 5x attack once and then pressing the 1x item ability once and using your all around super ability with the key bind you have it set to

His half meter super 1:

this super does require a lengthy explanation, but it is also entertaining to see what Faust can do. You see, I can perform super 3, and this can be seen by anyone that chooses to take a look at it. This supers has eight inscriptions, the first four are visible, and the last four are secret.

Nineteen of Faust's super 4:

this super does require a lengthy explanation, but I would suggest that it not be undertaken to see exactly what Faust can do with super 4.

Seven of Faust's super 5:

this supers has some funny features that will not help Faust's reputation; I would not recommend that you partake in super 5

Twenty-one of Faust's super 5:

this supers has some funny features that will not help Faust's reputation; I would not recommend that you partake in twenty one of Faust's super 5 as it will make your eyes bleed and your lungs explode.

Faust's super 6:

this super is special because no one else has it .

Faust's super 7:

this supers is special because it is made from some weird non-compliant metal; do not try this at home

Faust's super 8:

this super is special because it looks like something you would find in the paint cans in a garage; do not try this at home

Faust's super 9:

this super is special because it is gold; do not try this at home

The tenth of Faust's super 10:

this supers is special because it looks like one of those inventions from an old science fiction movie that make the bollywood people rich; do not try this at home.

Final Thoughts On Faust

Faust is a unique character which some valuable skills and supers. my final thoughts on him for new players are:

– Faust is a good character to build upon, but he is complicated.

– Instead of starting at point 30, start at point 5, and then try to build up your skills.

– If you start from point 30, you can learn all of your skills with 5 people or 2 people – when you get a full team, you can build a really strong team and even have many skilled players.

– Faust requires a lot of setup, and after a few minutes, you can use your super to kill people and carry the super bag and your soul shield.

– Faust is not a character for beginners, the learning curve is too high. but you are welcome to try.

– Faust does not get some new-player friendly skills. New-players can learn the basics, but not everything that Faust can do.

– Faust has a limited number of skills, so you must prioritize a few to survive a fight.
