Dont worry, with my handy dandy guide you too can beat boss ramlethal and become fulfilled with your life and gain at least a sentence of lore thats definitely not been uploaded to the Internet already. And maybe if you haven't done it before you can also get that one achievement idk if it unlocks for dlc characters whatever.

This method probably also works with other boss characters by the way, or at least, while theyre may be minor execution differences the main idea is still the same. For example, boss nago has you spam grab but jump instead.

Stages 1-7

literally just hit buttons lmao you'll get it eventually just remember to 2-0 everyone or else you wont be able to be an EPIC gamer and see stage 9 (you can hit continue if you die twice, but NEVER Win a fight where you lose 1 round. Basically, if you lose 1 round, just give up and then hit continue for the chance to 2-0 again.

Stage 8

So stage 8. This ram can cancel into sabrobato (big sword slam) and Silto Detruo (Forward flip) becomes an overhead (meaning you have to block it standing, not crouching) and Daruo (Slide forward with her arm up) becomes fully invincible, and I mean FULLY invinicble, she literally daruo'd through my reversal super at one point. She WILL blow you up and end with a sabrobato to take away about ~half your health. She does also use calvados if she has the meter. She will use mortobato in pressure but shes kinda stupid with it.

Anyway, heres what you want to do:

*IMPORTANT NOTE*

Boss Characters are known for reading your inputs which is why they're so hard. I personally do not know if they read any of your inputs before round start but it'd be safer to not hit anything until the second the round hits. I failed against this boss 50+ times before I figured this out and it always consistently worked for me so long as I didnt hit anything before round start.

instantly do 2hs (crouching heavy slash, the sawblades moving forward on the floor) into 236s (quarter circle forward slash, the beyblade tornado thing) as she always uses fs. This will result in knocking her down and carrying her close to the corner, then get ready to dash in when shes getting up and grab her and she'll be in the corner.

(Dont worry about the ERROR 6E Followup that 236s does btw, you should be grabbing her so that it wont matter.)

You have to time it so you're far enough away when she gets up so that she doesnt respond with a safer, faster option so you can easily grab her when she gets up. Theres a timing to it, but basically be around 2 ky lengths away when shes on the floor, then dash in when she starts to get up. You'll get it down consistently after enough time.

2hs and 236s

After your grab, she should now be in the corner assuming you held forward and didnt throw her the other way, now:

Back up when she's on the ground and dash grab her again when she gets back up. Repeat this until she dies. Try to separate walking backwards and dashing in to separate parts of her getting up animation. Makes it easier. Use burst if you ♥♥♥♥ up and she starts going insane on you. Cry if you dont have it. If you get hit away, you can attempt to grab her again but she'll probably corner carry you. You have an opening to grab her when she uses Silto detruo (for the less cool of you, its the front flip she does. She also randomly dashes into you for a couple secs which is another opening.) Grab her and put her in the corner she inevitably got you in when you screwed up. Then you've got another shot.

One final openiing is that she may airdash in if you/re far enough away. just air grab and try to get her in the corner.

Also she has the same ai as boss nago where she gets much more defensive on orange health so that makes it much easier at that point as she'll basically just block and walk into you. Just keep grabbing as she still explodes you if she counterhits you.

*REMEMBER, YOU HAVE TO WIN STAGE 8 WITHOUT LOSING A ROUND TO GET TO STAGE 9. IF YOU LOSE 1 ROUND, JUST WAIT TO BE KILLED FOR A SECOND TIME THEN HIT CONTINUE TO TRY AGAIN!*

After you've done that, give yourself a pat on the back. Eat a danny missiles burger to fuel you for the next half of hell.

STAGE 9 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Stage 9: All of rams sword moves will now teleport to where you are to hit you. You can still block it, but you cannot outspace them. For this reason its usually better to be closer than farther as she'll easily capitalise on counters from your zoning tools. Luckily for us however, the previous strategy still mostly works so we just have to adjust our play a tiny bit.

Heres what to do:

Just use 236s on round start start because she'll counter 2hs round start with invincible daruo (and I mean invincible, she wins against pretty much everything. Then just do grab spam again. If not in the corner you'll need to step forward and dash very slightly rather than walk backward and dash as there won't be enough time to. The timing for this is somewhat finnicky but easier than doing this boss legit. Everyone can be a grappler if you need them to be in strive)

Aside from that though, you're really going to be doing the same thing as stage 8. It'll just be more punishing to ♥♥♥♥ up as now she doesnt have to come to you if she doesnt want to, meaning the instances to recover if you ♥♥♥♥ up the first time are harder.

YOU JUST HAVE TO WIN THIS, YOU DONT HAVE TO GO 2-0, SO IF YOU LOSE A ROUND, DONT GIVE UP
