This guide is a collection of tips on how to make the Gothic Remake (Playable Teaser) look and perform better.
How To Make The Game Looks Better
Disabling Motion Blur
Motion Blur is just hideous in the teaser. You can disable it by setting your Post-Processing to low, but then you lose other PP options. So, here's how you can disable it without losing on other PP quality:
Find Engine.ini in the following directory:
..steamapps\common\THQBCNP1\GothicRemake\Saved\ Config\WindowsNoEditor
Add the following to the end of the file:
[SystemSettings]
r.Motionblur.Max=0
r.MotionblurQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.Motionblur=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
Save it.
Enabling Developer Console
Find Inpuit.ini in the following directory:
...steamapps\common\THQBCNP1\GothicRemake\Saved\ Config\WindowsNoEditor
Add the following to the end of the file:
[/script/engine.inputsettings]
ConsoleKey=Tilde
Save it.
