First of all I want to say a big thank you to GamerTeah for the work they put into the game :D
I have been doing some digging for the last several hours to find out how I can edit perks in this game. Was super frustrated when I found that the \Steam\steamapps\common\Going Medieval\Going Medieval_Data\StreamingAssets\Worker - Perk.json didn't use the Perk's actual name. So I did some testing and I now have a compass for the file. So if there are any advent modders who want to play around please take this work and put it to good use.
The Perk.json is broken down into sections that all start with "name": "Perk_##". This list tells you what Perk is associated with that number.
