Introduction
WARNING: This guide contains spoilers for nearly all of the content in Dark Deception.
Want to get all of the upgrades as quick as possible while completing the main story? Look no further than this guide!
NOTE: Steps for unlocking Freddy's ability upgrades (Monty's Claws, Chica's Voice Box, & Roxy's Eyes) will not be included as these are main story events that cannot be missed.
Flashlight Upgrade 1
The first upgrade in the game doubles as the only one you cannot grab later on.
Time: 12:30 AM
Location: DaycareWhen it's time to distract Sun with the barrels, do so and run immediately to the left towards the tower structure.
He cannot follow you inside, so don't worry about being grabbed and taken back. Keep going and head up the other tower's stairs to reach the gift box.
Fizzy Faz Freddy OR Fizzy Faz Monty
Both of these upgrades are available at the same time, but you can only grab one right away. This is due to your decisions branching for your choice on escape at 1 AM. Each path has its own upgrade to grab.
Fizzy Faz FreddyTime: 1:15 AM
Location: Basement 1If you decide to try reaching the loading docks on the lower levels, enter the vent and proceed as normal.
Right after you escape the Wind-Up Music Man in the vent, go through the right most door and the present will be sitting on a chair.
Fizzy Faz MontyTime: 1:15 AM
Location: El Chip'sOn the other hand, choosing to try for the fire escape will take you to El Chip's on the third floor.
Heading to the right side of the first counter will reveal a door behind it. Go through it to nab this upgrade.
Getting the other upgradeDue to barriers and other missions restricting you to certain areas, you won't be able to get the upgrade you missed until 4 AM. Right after obtaining the party pass in Chica's green room, the locations where the alternate missions took place open up.
Fizzy Faz Chica
Time: 2:00 AM
Location: Level 2 LobbyImmediately after escaping Vanny in Lost And Found, go right and head up to the level 2 security door.
Inside this room is another stamina upgrade. Just be cautious as a Staff Bot and Vanny herself are patrolling the area.
Flashlight Upgrade 2
Time: 2:15 AM
Location: Rehearsal RoomOn your quest to getting the backstage pass, another flashlight upgrade can be found next to the room with the mission item.
To the rehearsal room's left are two red doors, and inside is the gift box.
Freddy Upgrade 1
Time: 2:30 AM
Location: AtriumWhen Freddy tasks you to play the showtime disk, swing by Salads and Slides in the right corner on the first floor.
Near the vent you would take downstairs to the kitchen and loading dock is a table hiding Freddy's first of two battery upgrades.
Shoes
Time: 4:00 AM
Location: Glamrock SalonInstead of heading to one of the party pass locations, head over to the Glamrock Salon next to Roxy Raceway.
Make your way into the building, head towards the back, and the shoes upgrade will be located on the floor of the bathroom.
Flashlight Upgrade 3
Time: 4:00 AM
Location: Monty GolfUnlike the previous fork in the road, if you want all upgrades as soon as possible, selecting Monty Golf is necessary over Fazer Blast.
Straight down the hallway near where you get the Faz Cam is a room with a Staff Bot inside. Maneuvering around him will reveal the third and final flashlight upgrade.
Hoodie
It's actually possible to unlock this one before heading to Monty Golf and getting the upgrade there, but only if you get the security badge from the place you didn't go to at 1 AM (Basement 1 or El Chip's).
Time: 4:00 AM
Location: BakeryBehind Monty Golf on the second floor is the path to the Bakery. Enter the building and make your way to the back.
Behind a level 5 security door is a bathroom that houses the hoodie on a toilet.
Freddy Upgrade 2
Time: 5:00 AM
Location: Roxy RacewayWhen you're in Roxy Raceway for the first time, head down and use the garage door on the far right.
Use the door to the room's right and net the gift box in there while dodging the Staff Bot.
Fizzy Faz Roxy
Time: 5:00 AM
Location: Roxy RacewayAfter Freddy prompts you to find the driver assist head tor ride the kart, head behind it to the metal stairs.
Head upward and the final upgrade and stamina-based one in the game is yours to grab.

With where everything is all said and done, what does every upgrade do? Well...
Flashlight Battery Upgrades Amount: 3
Function: Increased battery for Gregory's flashlight
Fizzy Faz Drinks Amount: 4
Function: Increased stamina for Gregory when running
Freddy Upgrades Amount: 2
Function: Increased battery for Freddy
Shoes Amount: 1
Function: Increased running speed for Gregory
Hoodie Amount: 1
Function: Increased stealth for Gregory
Conclusion
Well that concludes the guide! I don't intend on updating this unless the game gets some form of update that's significant enough. Whether that's a lighting change I'd have to update the screenshots with or alterations to the mission system (unlikely), I'm up for modifying the guide if need be.
