You have to disable interviews, because it can crash the game and corrupt your save file.
Sometimes they might turn back on again for no reason, so beware you might lose all your progress regardless.
Qualifying gotta be short, because if you are out in q1 your gonna have to spectate all the other qualifying sessions with the ai
You cant change any engine parts from race to practice unless you actually go into the practice session, in which case they do change.
Generally the ai is really fast in the high speed corners still, and you have to change the difficulty every track, sometimes even between qualifying and the race. There is literally a calculator online which tells you what ai level to put in which track, im not sure who at codemasters tests the ai levels, but he must suck at paul ricard, and be a god at spa
Sometimes the ai decide to teleport out of the pitlane just to retire on the pit straight, pretty efficient i suppose.
Sometimes an ai might lose his entire wheel on lap 1 and drive about 5 km/h to the pits even when there is no contact.
Be careful racing the ai! sometimes they might get parkinsons disease and start shaking back and forth uncontrollably!
Even if you somehow manage to make it all work, the game will eventually delete 2 drivers from the current grid without reason and corrupt your save file anyway so good luck.
2 times now has the game corrupted our save file, and the response from codemasters is still to add more tracks, which dont work correctly anyway, and fix some very small issues in comparison to the base game which is still to an extent broken.
In qualifying the ai cars sometimes just want to stop on track and not overtake you, when other times they want to overtake you when you are on a fast lap
REMEMBER! IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A BACKUP SAVE, YOU CANT!

The menus in ranked lobbies keep freezing, and for some reason changes the cars from custom to F1 2021 grid suddenly? Not sure if this is some groundbreaking feature from Codemasters but its very confusing.
The custom car liveries are terrible, and the ones that look decent are locked behind a paywall. Some of the helmets and liveries colours get mixed or are locked so you cant really customize them like you would want
The ai crash into people coming into the pits at austria, and crash into the people coming out of the pits in australia.
In career mode after you play 10 seasons the game deletes all your save files instantly!
