02:47 - with Low Sense , you will get a decent piece of armor from the blacksmith which will be enough to help you win the duel. Any more helps will just be overkill and you will lose respect from Asleifr.
04:16 - Ask village hunter to lay some traps for you. You can see the traps as rex hexes while dueling with Asleifr.
5:40 - Asking the witch for poison which will give Asleifr a debuff for the entire duel.
Cleaning House is included in this video. You can either spare the farmer family or kill/exile them which will leave the farm empty for future owner (involve in later quest). Whatever you do, make sure to plunder the place after, there is a good "spear" for Nefja and a good shield for Asleifr.
06:53 - Raid occurred. Saving Asleifr at the northen gate first. They come in waves in this battle so its easy. Make sure to fall back , let them come inside , allowing Kentill to get a better shots. Straightfoward path with less covers and illuminated by torches which boost accuracy.
23:14 - Helping Nefja defend the south bridge. Same tactic like the previous battle , let the raiders come across then pick them one by one. Make sure to let your Medic spam Demoralise , it will reduce enemy archers Accuracy , its really helpful because most of them are Archers in this fight.
34:03 - Fighting Gunnarr. He is a berserker , his charge is lethal so make sure to engage the battle like how i did in this video to prevent his charge on the first turn. Kill him first , the rest is easy.
02:38 - In Fighting Trim sidequest. You will be fighting against a bunch of kids , focus on the dual-wielders first then the archers, the rest is weak. You can always come back here to train and test new skills after.
9:19 - Wilted Flowers sidequest. Video shows 3 locations of 3 unique flowers for this quest , once collected return to Hulda.
02:38 - In Fighting Trim sidequest. You will be fighting against a bunch of kids but they are no joke. Focus on the dual-wielders first then the archer , they are the real deal , the rest is rather weak. You can always come back here to train and test new skills after this.
3:39 - Finding trees materials in Skjern Forest. I'll show you all 6 locations, 2 at the starting area. Keep hugging your right and you will find the third. Walk back to your starting area and hug the left instead, you will find another 2 trees. Once you reach a dead end, start walking to your right and you will see the final tree. Speak to Torfinn to decide what type of ships you are going to build. Return home to name your new ship.
13:52 - Back to Skjern forest for Unwanted Guests sidequest. Walk to the waypoint, its better to be aggresive because doing so you will get a free kill right from the start. They are spies sent by Skule.
00:06 - Quest given by your uncle in Skjern Forest.
Besure to stack Physical DR. Here are some useful kills for this battle on Insane:
♦ Protector for Asleifr: It scales dmg reduction of any nearby allies up to his. So make sure to give him the best armor.
♦ Tyr's Favour: Boost the whole party dmg reduction by 25.
♦ Your Uncle can kill one wolf with his One-Two ability.
Strategy and Tatics:
♦ First turn of the battle, regroup your whole team to 2 different groups, and stay far away from the wolf, especially your archers and healers but not too far so the wolves can split into 2 striking forces to your groups.
♦ Buff your team with the abilites i mentioned above for maximum defense , additionally your Uncle can use Parry to counter any attack one wolf could make.
♦ On the second turn and so on: Focus on the prowlers first because they deal alot of damage but also the fastest ones to die in the pack. Also , always focus on one wolf until its die so the mother cant heal them. The wolf mother deal small damage so feel free to ignore and disengage her whenever you need to focus on better threats.
02:08 - Travel to Ribe , gydia is in a temple there , turn right for one block then keep heading straight up and you will see the it.
♦ You could offer 50 rations to the gods for some amulets based on the gods you pray to from her. e.g: Thor give +10HP amulet
07:11 - After talking to the gydia , travel to the Marsh and find Troll Tree , you will be interupted by another group of four. Fight them and you get to keep all of the medicine. Once the fight is over you can turn in the quest right away , rest of the video is walkthrough of entire Marsh area.
19:13 - Skule men, its better to be sneaky, by doing so Kentill can snipe out one enemy. Dont worry about the thralls they can handle themself, just let them flank thier target, then use GRAB, he will be stunlock forever, beat him up however you want while the your group taking care of the main group.
29:24 - Once you done with Skule men. Keep heading right and you will see a pack of wolves. These wolves are much weaker to the previous wolves you fought in Skjern forest so this should be easy.
00:13 - Kill the Rats can be received at the Market in Ribe Village. Rats here are actually you beating up kids. There is an alternative way for this, you have to kill or exile the farmers family in the very beginning into the game so they can move in there. Incase you want to fight the rogue kids. Take position like i did in the video so you can block thier escape.
♦ Keep in mind that you can open non-lethal mode and just knock them down instead , i was role-playing a bloodlusted berserker so...
9:34 - Best Served Cold, you get this quest by the docks. You will bump into the raiders who attacked your village. If you brought Gunnarr and decide to get revenge, he will kill one from the start before the battle starts. Otherwise you will have to fight them with thier big bad leader standing instead.
♦ Thier backline archers hit really HARD , so try to squeeze one of your fighters into thier backline if you dont want to get sniped.
16:41 - Go back to the market after , you can either sold the raider ship for 1200 valuables or have people descontruct the ship instead for woods. ( 100 ~ 200 woods )

00:06 - Receiving One Last Drink quest at the Market. Follow him to his house for a drink. Roska will then tell you the drink is poisoned , you can then start a fight whenever you want , you will be thier focus though.
♦ So make sure stack alot of armor resistance, take the flaking dmg reducition perk if possible (its cheap). They only has 3 great threats: 2 fighters and 1 archer. The archer can be easily remove out of the battle by just moving one of your fighter next to him.
9:38 - Once you outside the house. Walking down the street and you will be ambushed by 4 assassins. Its recommend you go around like i did in the video instead , that way you wont get surrounded. It's a 6v4 , you should be able take this.
13:10 - Once you're done. Speak to the blacksmith nearby then head to the docks and speak with an NPC out there then the quest will be finished
You can receive this quest inside Jarl Longhouse in Ribe after doing a eating/drinking challenge with the guards. Travel to the Marsh and hunt down the Giants. There are 5 of them but only 3 giants are real threats , take them down and the dogs should be easy to deal with. They have really sweet drops on them so make sure you dont miss anything.
You can receive this quest in Skerninge at the farm house. Chase down the thiefs but dont follow them right into ambush but go around instead. That way you can flank one of thier archer and a Healer.
Make sure to stack alot of Ranged DR on your main so you can survive thier rain of arrows early on. Also craft some healing items on some of your companions so they can self-heal themself without the help of your Healer. There will be alot of injuries , thats for sure.
Skills like Tyr's Favour (+25 all DR for all) and Demoralise (-max accuracy on enemy archers) are really helpful in this fight. Better grab one for your archer so on the first turn , you can let your healer do the healing instead while your archer shut down enemy archers with Demoralise.
Its recommended to only do this quest after you have done every quests in Ribe village. Not only you will gain a fair ammount of SP there , you will also get a fair share of good equipments and 3 additional followers for your non-combat skills like crafting/smithing..etc to aid your combat group in battle.
04:54 - Travel to Skerninge to seek out the king tomb and it treasures.
6:08 - Speak with Oddkell and he wil allow you into the tomb without a fight by sacrificing human life. Go to the right until you see a trader camp, speak with them and you will get a new sidequest about tracking down a run-away scoundrel .
8:03 - Location of the scoundrel on the map. You have to kill him, then you will be able to use his body for the rite. You can return the sidequest now, i recommend keeping the loots as the body armor is quite decent. Just dont wear it while returning the quest unless you want to fight the traders.
12:13 - After you offer the scoundrel life to the Rite. You can use the token to gain passage into the tomb now. In there you will be fighting 3 ghosts in each waves, none of them are really strong but make sure to kill them fast or you will be surrounded, then its going to be a problem.
♦ After you took the loot, the guards will search you and may attack if they find loots (the bow) belong to the tomb (the valuables is ok). At this point you already have good followers to craft a much better bow so its better to descontruct it for salvages and save yourself some trouble.

01:04 - Vikings meet Britians. You can go full savage and murder everyone from this point. If you decided to be cool and agreed to solve thier bandits problem. You now have two options: either kill the bandits or team up with the bandits to raid the village and it church.
♦ The bad choice is alot more profitable in this case , you could atleast earn ~6000 valuables + other stuffs but get bad reputation and potential quests lost. While the latter choice makes you the hero of the town.
♦ Either way you still get a new monk follower. Just make sure you threat Morcant to side with you and active non-lethal mode while fighting nuns inside the monastery
7:39 - Kill everything, raid the town!
24:28 - Siding with the townsfolk and drive the bandits away!
00:06 - Wearh in the Woods sidequest , simply digging up a pile of jewellery hidden near the river then go ask around in town , could be your father belongings.
01:30 - Wreck and Ruin sidequest , the town need your help once again to get rid of the wreckers on the beach. You have 3 options:
♦ Friendly Vikings: you agree to help the wreckers find his missing friend then they leave.
♦ Intimidate Vikings: you threatened the wreckers and they agree to give thier goods to you. Some few resources and ~100 valuables.
♦ Savage Vikings: you beat the wreckers and loot everything. Some few resources and extra salvages from descontructing thier gears
00:06 - An Axe to Grind sidequest , in Beach Vilalge , by the river you will find a dead body , interact with it will trigger this quest. Talk to the lady just behind the wall nearby and you will find out a kid has been practicing throwing axes...
2:20 - Seventh Commandment sidequest , its about a fisherman whose wife has been cheating on him , he hired you to do some dirty jobs for him. Incase you want more $$$ , you can accept the farmsmen counter-offer and go beat the fishermen instead.

Kyre: Lady Favours & The Red Wedding
11:07 - Travel to Eoforwic to see the king there. You will be escorted by his men but your offer will get turned down in the end , you will meet another contact after about another hidden king who are willing to help.
17:11 - You both will get ambushed later. Just take out thier single archer and you will do fine. While there is 2 other flanking in the back , simply moving one of your best fighter in one single hex behind blocking thier advance and they'll have to 1v1 you each turn instead while your main group taking care of thier main group.
♦ Make use of the spy Inspire skill ( allow an additional attack move to an ally ) and the Mark skill which is an instant kill if the target take dmg next turn. Dont get him killed though.
23:44 - Go the the world map and travel to new quest waypoint. It will lead to a forest where the other king is hiding. Go give him a visit and the quest will be done.
0:06 - Forbidden Tribute, you receive quest in Eoforwic as you bump into a conversation near a great tree on your way to the king there.
0:38 - After your visit with the king , talk to Leofric and he will challenge you into practice battle, his group against yours.
1:21 - Back to town entrance , both quests continue happen to be very close there. First we will fight the King Champions. They are all skilled fighters especially thier leader are both strong in dmg output and tankiness , he also has 100% block chance, heres the strategy:
♦ Make sure you have an Axe-wielder: Gunnarr or Eydis
♦ Take position like i did before engaging the battle. By doing so your group will start near thier archers , rendering them useless whenever they in close combat range. They will either run or attack you with thier weak melee.
♦ Make sure take out all the other melee fighters first , you can keep Leofric in check by putting a good tanker + shield in front of him or putting a rogue with Parry skill near him. Once most of his teammates are down, use Shield Hook to prevent him from blocking. Then focus attack on him till hes down.
10:33 - Fight with a group of angry mob from Forbidden Tribute sidequest. They outnumbered you but only few are actual threats , check thier stats and kill the strongest ones.
From the Ashes minor sidequest is also included in this one.
00:06- Bargehst Cometh & From the Ashes sidequests , you will see a terrified man running at you saying he is being chased by a monster dog. Keep examining clues after clues and you will eventually catch up to it , monster dog against vikings will just be like a puppy.
5:44 - Unsavoury Dealings sidequest , this is the little girl's house who has been pickpocketing you. If you're cool with her dad about it , he will tell you about some interesting locations you can rob for good $$$.
♦ 1st House: you will bump into another thiefs , kill them and you will get a full share. If you walk back to Maban , yell at him however you want but dont kill hem yet , you still need the $$$ and sweet amulet he is going to give you after.
♦ 2nd house: Its empty at first but the owners will go in so and see you. Beat 3 of them , focus on the shield-men and you will be fine. Make sure to loot the seal on the woman.
♦ 3rd house: you walk in , you loot , you grab the gold cross , nobody is here this time around to trouble you. Return to Madan and get your share.
You will receive this quest at Eoforwic after you dethroned king Osred. 01:52 - Bounty: The Absentee at Scarborough, Beach Village.
09:27 - Bounty: The Pagan at the Swamp, north east of Eoforwic.
17:13 - Bounty: The Failed Killer/Assassin at Legacaestir.
22:19 - Bounty: The Runaway at Yngilwood.
30:55 - Bounty: The Highwayman at the Green Rolling Plains, north of Northumbria.
0:06 - Kyre: Lady Favours sidequest, you are going to get back love gifts for a mysterious beautiful girl who is obsessed with fantasy stories from her old lovers. First guy is just a few blocks away from her home, second guy is a poet from Beach Village , last one will be at Perth , land of the Picts.
♦ The Poet already sold Kyre ring, she will ask you to kill him, if you have high enough Sense you can convince her that hes already dead , or else you have to kill the man to continue this quest.
♦ Last guy is a hot head dude, you can either kindly ask him giving back Kyre's gift , or teach him a lesson. Once you collect everything, come back to Kyre.
11:41 - Depends on your gender, there are 2 different outcomes:
♦ As Male, she will ask you to come join her dinner alone. After dinner, she will invite you to bed and have sex. Accept the offer and you get to see romance moments between the two then Kyre gift you a talisman as a goodbye.
Keep in mind that if you already have a love interest like Nefja or Roska, sleeping with Kyre will be considered as cheating and they will be displeased with you ( -4 Morale ). You'll still get Kyre gift even if you turn down her offer. Also, Kyre is not a permanent love interest, so there wont be any more interactions with her in the future.
♦ As Female, she will ask either Gunnarr or Asleifr to have a dinner and sleep with her instead of you because the princess here is straight. After the night is over , your companion will bring you her talisman.
16:07 - The Red Wedding sidequest, you will bump into a wedding in front of a church in Eoforwic. Follow them and wait after midnight, come in and loot everything. You will get -10 reputation with the Northumbria even if you knock them out cold instead of murdering.
BRITAIN - Campsite

(You can receive this quest through a conversation with Nefja while camping in Britian) 0:06 - Nefja is having a bad dream about her sister, come back home to see if she's ok. You'll find out Nefja sister is getting ill again , ask Hulda for help then travel to Perth and look for the cure.
5:01 - After visiting the witch Perth, the cure can be found in Forest Cleaning . Thing is the owner there is not friendly, so you have 2 options here:
♦ Fight them, although they have like 12 people , only 8 of them know how to fight, the rest will run around in fear.
♦ Use Nefja to sneak in and play a little stealth mini game. It isnt hard , only 2 patrol guards, all you need is to wait them to go away and you will have a clear path to the cure, get in and get out.
19:53 - Return to Skjern and give it to Nefja sister to finish the quest. You can then later visit Nefja home to see her sister is walking again. If you didnt kill a group of people you fought at the Troll Tree before, you will then see them at your Longhouse.
(You can get this quest by triggering camp conversations with Kentil , first in Britian and the second is available after you visited Perth) 0:06 - Conversations with Kentill, his breakdown and his past.
4:35 - Travel to Perth after you triggered 2 conversations, talk to the Blacksmith there, either using Sense or pay him with money, you'll know about Kentill parent house.
7:06 - Kentill parent house, after Kentill reunite his sister and parents in next life, quest will end. You can later visit him in Skjern to talk about the quest, Nefja also have something to say about Kentill after he finally put his past to rest.

00:06 - Hunting Party sidequest, you are tasked to call the young hunters back to camp, turns out those hunters had chickened out and left the master of arm's daughter to death when the wolves attacked. Chase after them, dont let anyone escape , dead or alive , doesnt matter.
8:10 - Snakes Among Trees , Tara the spy Master thinks there is some enemy spy among our forces , go set an ambush and intercept the spy. When one of enemy contact come , you have 2 turns to set your formation , they will be coming from the right. Make sure to switch to non-lethal mode so you can interrogate the messenger after.
14:26 - The enemy spy is random , so make sure to pay attention to the messenger description about the spy. In my case is its the female spy near a great black tree.
02:47 - Seekout Bioshop help from Eoforwic Church, use the lines Wada gave you to convince him. Incase you forgot, you can sweet talk Bioshop out of it. Either way , you will travel to Legacaestic and wipe a cult there to earn Bioshop help.
5:38 - At Legacaestic, a Priest will greet you. Once done talking head straight up inside the ruin.Mysteriouscult is in the underground chapel. To gain access, turn left, cross the bridge and you will bump into a group of Christians. You have two options here:
♦ Support the Christians , kill the non-christians refuge then team up and slaughter everyone inside the ruin.
♦ Support the refuge , kill the christians then escort the refuge across the bridge.
12:47 - If you choose to help the refuge , you will have another second battle on the bridge, they are strong but outnumbered by you, the refugee can fight.
22:27 - You can now gain access to the cult chapel ,2 options: kill Valerius or convince him to leave peacefully. If you managed to get him leave, a small group will refuse to go. Now you have yet another 2 options: go beat that stubborn group or end up having another deal and help them kill Valerius instead. Either way you work is finished, return to Bioshop.
On your way returning to Bioshop , you will be stopped by Eoforwic guards. You can either accept to go to jail or fight them. I'll show you how to handle the batle first:
♦ Buff Tyr's Favour and let your tankiest fighter charge right into enemy formation to draw thier archers attention. In this case its my berserker, she will wreak havoc on enemy backline while others stay at the back and deal with any enemies closing in. Let another 2 fighter stand in front to protect your main group backline.
♦ Keep in mind they have shield-men who can stunt you and remove any DR you have, meaning if your tanker get stunned , he/she will still die after tanking 1-2 arrow shots. So you need Balder's Favour buff too, which gives Centered Status for all allies (+100% physical resistance)
♦ Kill frontline enemies and push in to support your tanker at enemies backline. If your tanker is unable to get enemies archer attention, use Demoralise to lower thier Accuracy.
If you cant handle this battle , then accept the trial , the dungeon part is quite easy , just make sure you leave your second best character behind. He/she and the rest of your other companions will come to break you out of jail later.
13:48 - Either way , you return to Bioshop and earn his support.
1:13 - Raiding a roadside camp to find an Alliance Meeting between two enemy forces. There are only seven of them and they stand really far from each other , you can kill them one by one , grab the letter and leave.
11:07 - After reading the letter , you will have a new waypoint , it leads you to a Swamp nearby, once you are there, go up on a hill nearby first to kill the scouts.
16:46 - This is where a Diplomatic Alliance between enemy forces will happen soon. Ambush and kill them. With the scouts dead , you can ambush them group by group , you outnumbered them. Once the work is done , return back to camp and turn in the quest.
♦ 22:48 - Some important rare loot related to your father i missed earlier.
0:06 - This quest happens right after you finish the Mercian Connection. Go to northen flank of the camp and help defend it there. Enemies will come in waves, there is a great number of turns befween each waves so take your time killing them.
♦ You can also make a stand right at the entrance , pick of enemies at range and engage in melee when someone come close instead of going out there hunting them.
13:04 - Face Hrodgaerda and defeat her. Her crew has at least 4 archers , including her and the medic. To avoid tanking lot of arrows in the beginning , go around (watch video):
♦ Taking the route like i did, you will end up having most of your group members covered in a cover and start the battle close to one of thier archers , allowing you to take out one of thier archer early on.
♦ When its your turn, buff Tyr's Favour then let your shieldmen use shield bash to charge right into front line, hug an archer if you can , that way he/she can draw most of enemies attention. Your team in the back will take care nearby threats then push foward to support your tank.
♦ Let Kentill snipe thier archers. Enemy archer healthpool is quite small ( only 95~100 ), so if you build him good enough , he should be able to take out 1 archer each turn no matter what, use Aimed Shot and you wont have to worry about debuffs, range penalty.
♦ For Roska, its best to let her use Demoralise, your team should be able to heal themself with consumables at this point. Only start buffing other powers and healing when there is only Hrodgaerda (the last archer), 2 archers would still be a threat if they get smart and focus on the right target.
♦ Keep in mind that Hrodgaerda is also a pure archer, so if you manage to get one of your fighter near her. She will be shut down just like any other archers and always try to flee.
(These 2 side-quests is in the Swamp which area is unlocked while you are doing the Mercian Connection quest) 0:06 - You need to unlock the Swamp first through a main quest: Mercian Connection. The location of your father talisman is North-West on the map of Swamp near a travel point where you ambushed an enemy group from Mercian Connection.
0:41 - Go the the world map , travel South East and you will unlock a new map called Fishing Village. In there you will find your father graves with some really good viking helmets, make sure you search the shore for an Ancient Shield too.
3:03 - The key bandits and a mysterious ancient stash. You can also do this quest in the Swamp as well , near the Tower at center of the map. Kill the bandits and you will get a key to unlock the mysterious stone inside the tower.
BRITAIN - Legacaestic
Ab Urbe Condita & Time Out & Debt Collector00:06 - Ab Urbe Condita sidequest, run to the quest waypoint, you will be fighting a wolf pack , make sure you turn up non-lethal mode, you need to bring Rhea Silvia back alive (the white wolf).
06:43 - Time Out sidequest , the dungeon is on the left just right after you enter the ruin. You can either bribe the dungeon guard for 400 gold or stab her. Inside you will be fighting another 6 guards. Once the battle is over you can free Theodore and return to his sister.
♦ Make sure you check another jail room too , there is a good unique ancient helmet in there.
17:50 - Debt Collector sidequest, you need to collect a debt from a merchant inside the underground chapel. Make sure check his store first and see if you want buy anything because once you collect his debt, he wont do business with you anymore.

2:34 - On the way to Perth, you will be stopped by the locals. You can either befriend them or fight them. I will befriend with them in this run , if you want to fight 'em, make sure you choose the initiative dialouge so you can attack first. Incase your party cant handle the fight , considering checking my hird build guide for the game.
11:05 - During this quest your party will have one new companion called Aife, she is a huntress. If you bring her along the assassination attempt of Mac Taidg , there will be some special interaction.
♦ Having Gunnarr in the party, you will be able to fool the entrance guards that you are the vikings they are woking with.
♦ Talk to one of the villager to come up with a plan to poison Mac Taidg inside the camp. If you brought Aife along like i said, she will be able to distract two lovebirds guarding the ale barrels without much trouble.
15:32 - Once you are ready, kill the guards outside and bring Mac Taidg's head back to the king. Make sure to turn on non-lethal mode and spare the marked guard too if you promised to do him no harm to one of the village girl back at Perth village.
0:06 - Witch Curse sidequest, across the river , you'll find the witch hut in Perth. She will then ask you help her remove the curse-pole hidden in Perth.
7:50 - Just Deserts sidequest, you'll bump into 2 prisoners during Witch Curse sidequest, you will later be able to free them and ask them to help you build your clan. They also has some interesting secret to share about Skule once you come visit them back at Skjern.
2:48 - Travel to the pagan worship site on the east coast of Pictavia and talk to the locals there to find where the druid is hiding. You either convince them by diplomacy or offer them some supplies.
9:50 - Ravine in the highlands, where you will find the druid. You will bump into the locals there, you can talk to some of the NPC there and get a +5 ranged DR talisman. Seek a cave in the north after, the local and old druid arent exactly friendly with each other, soon they will come after him, thats when he willingly to come with you to Perth.
22:36 - First fight with the local is easy, you also can reduce thier number if you talked to Lann before and convince her to leave. Just dont let the old druid die. Then go back to the village and rescue Cillian
27:15 - They have 12 people but ony half of them know how to fight. You will need to get them all fast under 5 turns though or Cillian will die. After that, escort the old druid and Cillian back to Perth.
♦ 34:28 - Using Sense, you can interact with the stones and unlock new quest.
0:36 - Travel to Donn homestead in Dal Riata to escort the princess back for her wedding. Unfortunately, Skule vikings raided the place, you have to save the king to gain the princess trust. While you're there you can also drive off the looters for a small sidequest, either by force or diplomacy.
8:51 - Raider camp where the king is held. You can finish the first two guards with high Finesse skill check, or you will have to fight total 7 of them later. On far left of the map, you will find some thralls, either free them for reputation or recapture.
10:11 - You will then bump into your first battle, if you have Diplomacy you can convince two of them to fight by your side. Otherwise you have to fight them all, beware of the traps, they have traps on the way in. I tried to stay put and wait them for to get out but they are smart. So buff your whole team then charge in and slaughter them all.
18:10 - Second fight with Skule Vikings, Berserker Skakki is among them. Skakki has alot of DR, he will buff Tyr Favour when is his turn. Boosting his DR over 100% , but then again dude only has ~50% physical resistance, if you have hard CC like Stunt/ShieldBash, you should be able to put him down easily. In my case, i used Asleifr with Execute skill to one shot him. Otherwise use characters like Archer, Dual Wielding Axe or Knife are good against armored enemies.
23:30 Escort the king back to his daughter. Once you gain thier trust, you can then return to Perth with the princess to prep for thier wedding.
1:37 - During the wedding, Skakki will interrupt you. Deal with him once and for all. All of his vikings are skilled and most has over 50% DR and 100+ dmg output each. Except for Skakki, he has around 90% DR , with Tyr he can make it over 100%.
♦ Focus on any targets except thier shieldmen, they are the lesser threats. Make sure to buff Tyr Favour before you going in. Even though they look quite tough, thier physical resistance are only around 30~50% so you knock them down or stun them.
♦ Dual wielder axes/knifes or archer can deal with armored enemies like Skakki. Or you can use Asleifr to oneshot him with Execute like i did. Once the battle is over, if Skakki is alive, you can choose to kill him or capture him and return to the wedding.
During Wisdom of the Ancient quest, a quest for the Perth, you will encounter the standing stones. Using Sense to interact with them, you will trigger this quest
You will unlock the ability to decipher the inscriptions. From then on, when you visit the menhirs again, you will get a little puzzle to find the ancient tablets. You need to find a total 7 of them then the isle of apples will be revealed on your map:

- Swamp
- Scarborough
- Lindisfarne
♦ You need to conquer Britain, both Pictavia and Northumbria to be worthy of the Excalibur.

0:15 - Sail to Orkneyjar to meet its current thegn. Once go there its better to accept his dinner. It opens up more interactions. You'll find out that he is keeping your uncle dane-axe. After dinner, you'll have 3 options to start ruling the place:
♦ As MALE: Buy thier service outright with 10.000 valuables.
♦ As FEMALE: He will ask you to sleep with him. If you already in relationship with someone like Roskva or Kentill, then dont, they will get upset (-4 Morale).
♦ Fight and kick thier asses in battle. They all have decent DR all over 50% to above 70% but thier weapons are nowhere threatening enough to you at this point ingame. You can also start the conversation behind him and you'll start the battle right next to his archers. Remember to turn on non-lethal mode, you are recruiting them for war..
7:32 - Once the battle is over, make sure to give you as much as Rations you can to get more Power. Dont worry, the merchants nearby have rations for sale and they are cheap. Around 1000 valuables for ~100 rations. You can go back into Stein house and buy back your uncle unique Dane-Axe.
(You will trigger this quest while camping in Britian after finishing in Orkneyjar) 0:58 - Return to Orkneyjar and speak to Skallagrimr. The Christians have long embargo against all trade with the Norse, its time to make a statement, its time to RAID !!~ Travel to Lindisfarne to launch a raid on the monastery.
4:08 - Lindisfarne, lead Hrodgaerda and raid the church. Dont worry, she wont bite this time. The fight isnt hard either considering they are all nuns & clerics and you have men support from Hrodgaerda too.
15:55 - Ransach the church for valuables. Kill or spare the clerics as it pleases you. After that return to the beach and you will be officially granted the tittle Jarl of Orkneyjar.
3:54 - Lost and Found sidequest, travel to the flooded cave and loot your treasures.
12:46 - No Escapes sidequest, first group is in Perth near the Witch hut, second group is in Dun Phris.
WAR - Side With PICT

5:23 - Attacking on Dun Phris. Buff Tyr Favour first, then let one of your fighter rush to top of the moutain nearby with his/her shield up, the rest stay down there and finish the villagers. Make sure to fight inside the fort, they chase them to the front entrace, they're immune to thier own traps but you wont.
16:22 - Second fight happen right after you seize Dun Phris. Your health will be healed to full and you outnumbered enemy force with the help of Magnus squad. You will still need to control them, they are not played by Al. Return to Perth once the battle is over. You need to wrap up your questline in Orkneyjar if you want to rule both kingdoms in the future.
0:06 - Meet Grainne in Highland Caves then travel to Hadrian's Wall to open it gate and let Grainne forces through.
5:15 - Hadrian's Wall, make sure you kill 2 groups outside the wall before going in. Inside you will fight the third battle but also the last battle with Northumbria forces at Hadrian's Wall, including Leofric himself.
♦ Northhumbria troops have decent armor and decent damage but thier numbers are not much, only more than one compared to you (7 vs 6). First round, just push in, open the wood gate whenever the path is clear, Grainne force will come through there (you need to control them).
♦ Make sure to buff Tyr and Balder Favour before going in to get above 100% DR and resist immobilised. Hook Leofric shield away and kill him whenever you can, even though he is tanky, he is also the highest damage dealer among them.
♦ The second fight is easy, because they have the same numbers of men like before (7) but no strong individual like Leofric and you also have men support from Grainne.
0:06 - Travel to Eoforwic and join the assault on the city. You have 2 ways to the King's longhouse. Either through the breach on it wall or throug the ruined tower. I recommend go through the ruine tower because you will then have many flanking options to the main troops guarding the longhouse.
8:18 - Battle with the king Guards, if you did like i said. You'll be able to flank thier archers. Then slowly kill the others, the dual-wielded then move on the shield fighters.
14:22 - Inside you will fight the king and his guards. This battle should be easy because all of his best guards area already beaten by you outside. Once the battle is done return to Caustanin to finish the quest.
♦ If you already done Orkneyjar questline and have ~100 or above Power, you will have an option to betray them at the king feast and conquer both kingdoms.
WAR - Side With NORTHUMBRIA

0:06 - Meet Leofric in his camp at Hadrian's Wall. Then travel to Highland Caves and capture it.
3:20 - Before you go into the cave, use the ladder to flank the sentries above or they will flank you later inside. Dont use the main path because its full of traps hence why i tell you to use the ladder instead.
♦ Pict troops are good weak in defense (low DR) but good in damage output and numbers. They also has a lot of stunts so always buff Tyr Favour and Balder Favour before going in.
11:23 - Once inside, finish a small group at the entrance.Then you'll have 3 ways to proceed. First one is through jumping and second is clearing rocks, both have a chance to injure your hird, while the third way is through another fight. I recommend taking the jump, the injuries wont be much of the problem, you'll also able to flank Grainne using this option.
♦ Pict troops in final battle with Grainne and Aife are pretty much the same like the previous you've fought. Aife will have the same gears you equipped her before, if you stripped her naked before she leave, she'll remain naked and helpless now in this battle.
♦ Again, make sure to buff Tyr and Balder Favour before coming in. Only Grainne is tanky, if you want to attack her, make sure you kill her in that turn because she has passive that will heal her up to full each turn. She is also a team player so if you manage to leave one of her troops injured alive, she will run to heal them instead of fighting you.
26:10 - Once the battle is over, Aife will die, its scripted to add a little feels into the game, kinda silly and makes no sense when i used Non-Lethal mode the whole time. You can spare Grainne, return to Wada to finish this quest.
0:06 - Travel to Perth and join the assault on the city. You will fight a couple groups of Pict troops on your way to the king longhouse.
♦ Picts, they have numbers (7~11), like the second battle you have to fight total 11 of them but they are weak in defenese (low DR), so you can easily finish them off. Make sure to buff both Tyr and Balder Favour before going in because they capable of both dealing damage and stunning you.
15:08 - You will be ambushed infront of the king longhouse, they have 2 groups coming in 2 different directions and 4 men in each group. Focus on one group, let one of your tank hold the other one.
22:45 - Inside you will fight the king with his guards, if you spare Grainne before, she will somehow magically respawn here but with no regen passive. Just make a wall and let Kentill snipe them one by one, dont engage because the throne is full of traps. Fight anyone who brave enough to leave thier throne. After few turns thier reinforcements will come, finish them off then return to king Aethelred to finish the quest.
♦ If you already done Orkneyjar questline and have ~100 or above Power, you will have an option to betray them at the king feast and conquer both kingdoms.[/list]
Invasion - The Great Heathen Army

If you sided with one of the two kingdoms, you can do a betrayal act at thier Victory Feast. There is a third way to active this quest if you play like a true viking, raid and hostile to everything and you can make war on both kingdoms. I'll show the frst two in this walkthrough. Nonetheless, you need to finish Orkneyjar questline and gain 100 or more Power to trigger the Invasion
(If you have 100 or more Power, you will be able to order an Invasion a betray your ally at thier Victory Feast) 0:06 - Travel to Orkneyjar and speak to Skallagrimr to order the Invasion. Then go back to the victory feast and prepare your betrayal. Do not equip Aife into your active squad, she will leave your hird during the betrayal, strip her naked if you have good gears on her.
2:38 - Betrayal at Victory Feast. There is nothing to talk about the battle, you invade when they are unprepared and having a feast, so most of them are just civilians. Its a slaughter. (the game bugged for me, there is supposed to be a conversation between you and the king right after the battle ends but its skall conversation instead)

SKJERN - Althing

Conqueror Ending
Return to your homestead and talk to your mom after you finished your adventure in Britain. At the Althing, the Norse King will eventually rule in your favour if you have:
♦ A powerful ally: Northumbria or Pictavia
♦ Wealth-Prosperity: at 100 or higher
♦ Conquered Britain: both North and Pict
6:56 - Hrodgaerda attacks you. Her team has 8 manpower total, she will have 5 more after 4 turns and they are all decent in damage output and defense. But you also have a full party, literally.. meaning you will have 10 manpower for this battle.
♦ So the generic ones are usually used for utility jobs only but points are plenty at late game. You can use them to learn combat abilites for these characters instead. You only need to learn Galder and Leadership for them. All those buffs and Inspire are more than enough.
♦ That way you wont have to give them gears like your usual combat companions. Buff Tyr and Balder Favour for defensive early on, Loki and Thor for offensive when your melee are closed in and about to give enemies hell. Spam Inspire on your Archer or melee-DPS if your team is fully bufed.
♦ You can actually finish off Hrod really early on if you spam Inspire on your Archer. And its better to be on offensive, rush out and destroy them. Dont hold your ground inside, they have enough Archers with Hailstorms to chip your hird's health away without line of sights required. Besides once you take the first group down, you will be also in position to strike the second reinforcement right after they come.
25:12 - If you want Hrod live to interact with her after the battle ends. Make sure turn on non-lethal when attacking her. You will be able to make a deal and recruit her for yourself only once Skule is dead, that means you have to end Skule life when the time comes.
♦ Eventhough you wont see mentions of her in the ending. But if they have plans for future sequel or expansions, she might be a potential companion if you made the deal. Hrod is a she-wolf but atleast she's loyal to her "Alpha" , in my opinion that's useful.
0:06 - After the attack of Hrodgaerda. Come back and discuss with your hird about a counter-attack plan. If you conquered Britain, you can call your Army to keep Skule men busy while you make your way straight to Skule longhouse.
1:28 - If you recused the 2 Norse-men at Perth, you will know there is a secret tunnel leading straight into Skule location. Its a small house on the left (watch video).
3:46 - Battle with Skule Cleaver. You will fight Skule and his men which is 9 total.
♦ They are all decent in damage output and defense. You will also have to get through thier barricade. What you need to do is focus your melee on the middle barricade (so that all three melee can focus on one barricade) and destroy it in first turn.
♦ Let your Archer snipe out Skule archers while your melee fighters work thier way through. Keep in mind to buff your team with Tyr and Balder Favour first, they can stunt. The place is also full of traps so make sure send your tank through first.
♦ Eventhough Skule Cleaver is thier leader, he is rather weak (96 HP) so he is easy to kill, he has around 130~140 dmg though so dont leave he's standing too long near you. Once the battle ends, go inside his longhouse and check on your brother, Rurik the Traitor.
