Intruder Protocols And Tags

Automatically appling tags image 1

There are 3 types of tags in Evil Genius 2:

DistractYour Henchmen and Deception minions will try to lower the Skill and Resolve of the tagged character if they come in contact with them.

If a character with the Distract tag enabled enters your lair, nearby Henchmen or minions will escort them back to the Casino.

CaptureYour Genius, Henchmen, and minions will try to lower the Vitality and Skill of the tagged character, in combat, if they come in contact with them. If successful, the tagged character is then escorted to an empty Holding Cell inside your lair.

KillYour Genius, Henchmen, and minions will try to lower the Vitality of the tagged character, in combat.

An Intruder Protocol automatically assigns the specified tag to every intruder in the specified zone. Tourists are always set to Distract by default. You cannot change their tags.

Intruder Protocols do not apply to your Genius, henchmen, or minions. You can manually tag minions for Capture or Kill.

Applying Multiple Intruder Protocols To A Zone

You can apply multiple Intruder Protocols to the same zone. This is useful if you don't want to start a fight every time an intruder walks into your lair, but want them killed or captured if they cross a certain point.

A zone is defined by walls and doors. If you have multiple rooms connected with no doors between them, all those rooms count as one zone. If you temporarily split a room in two with the use of a door, it counts as 2 zones.

To apply multiple Intruder Protocols to a zone:

Pause the game.

Changes to the zone are temporary.

Add a walls or doors where you want the tag to change.

In the bottom left corner, click System Menu → Security Zones.

From the Security Zones menu, click on the tag you want to apply.

Click on the zone you want to use that tag.

Click Confirm.

Remove any walls or doors you added as separators.
