Keep Of The Guide Lord
Now then on with the guide
First things first ya doofs, learn to dodgeroll, remember what the old ghost man told ya! Good dodge rolling is the most important thing to be able to do, but you shouldnt dodge roll too little or too much. before dodge rolling try simply moving out of the way of the bullet currently traveling toward your face, if you dont think thats going to work then dodge. Those fancy guns wont help you if you can't live long enough to use them!!!
Guidegeon Proper
Next up, proper use of blanks! blanks are precious and you should not waste them we like to save them for the boss so you can get a health upgrade, health upgrades are always a nice thing. And you may be thinking "a health upgrade? how do i get one of those?!" well its simple my dear scrub, you simply dont get hit once during a boss fight. Easy, right?
I highly recomend you play hunter she is the most forgiving character to start playing in my opinion.
Guide Powder Mine
When you see a chest you might think it is a great idea to open it as soon as you find it, well its not. Let me explain scrubs, you might find a brown chest and instantly open it only to not get another key and find a black or gold chest (which are the two best chests in the game other than the fabled rainbow chest) all chests are better than brown, there are brown, blue, green, red and black there is also a secret chest but i will not tell you what it does, if we did it wouldnt be a secret. You might also get an item that just isn't worth the key, so sometime you might want to shoot the chest and get junk for a chance to encounter our lord and saviour SIR JUNKAN!!!
The Hollowed Guide
What do you expect? its hollow. :3
The GuideSmith's Forge
Combat, do you have cover? great. do you not have cover? then dont run acros a bullet filled room trying to get some.
There isnt really a type of enemy you should try killing first, because it normally depends on the room sometimes you want to kill the smaller guys first so you deal with the bigger bois alone onthers you want to get rid of the big bois first so you can deal with all the little guys. And then there is boss fights, the first floor boss fights shouldn't be much of a hassle especially if you are playing hunter, her crossbow is easily stronk enough to deal with the first floor boss even without finding any other items, as you can just stand back and let your bolts do the work. The second floor boss can either be easy or terrible, if you get meduzi (the gorgun) it should be pretty easy but if its the ammoconda youre in for a pretty hard fight. The third floor bosses, cannon balrog and the treadnaught arent that bad, but the mine frayer is a ****************************************************. The fourth floor bosses are where it gets tough, none of them are really easier or harder than the others. And then the fith, the forge. Here you will find a great and powerful beast that has not been disturbed in years, if you awake it from its slumber you are in for a challenge....
A WINNER IS YOU!
If you have gotten this far in guide you should be much better off in the gungeon. use the knowladge carefully, for with great firepower comes great recoil.
