Performance Guide for ELDEN RING (Nvidia)

1. Nvidia Control Panel Settings

Now, these fixes are simple and quick, so theres no time to waste.

But even so, these fixes do not fix the whole game performance issues. Some areas on the world will still suffer a bit of FPS loss and maybe large stutters. But i promise you, that the game will run just fine through out your playthrough on most areas.

For the settings, this will be very, very, very important. These settings optimizes your game and pc performance so that you can smoothly play for hours on end.

Go to Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings (you can manage this on to only Elden Ring itself on Program Settings but i recommend it to Global)

These are Optimized Settings (whats best works so far) :

- Preferred Graphics Processor : High-performance Nvidia processor

(If you dont have this option, go to Windows, search Graphics Settings, select browse and search for your Elden Ring game (.exe). And then set it the game to High Performance)

- Low Latency Mode : OFF (This doesnt work with DirectX 12 Games)

- Max Framerate : 60 (Only for Elden Ring in Program Settings)

- OpenGL GPU : Your GPU

- Power Management Mode : Prefer Maximum Performance

- Shader Cache Size : Unlimited

- Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization : ON

- Texture Filtering - Quality : High Performance

- Texture Filtering - Trilinear Optimization : ON

- Threaded Optimization : OFF

- Vertical Sync : Fast (You can use G-Sync if you have it)

- Pre-Rended Frames : 2 (Only for Elden Ring, may fixes some stutters)

Other Important Settings :

- Go to Graphics Settings, turn on Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling

- Go to Adjust image settings with Preview, and set it to Perfromance

- Go to Configure Sound, Physx, set it to the GPU you're currently using

- Go to Windows and go to Game Mode Settings, turn it on

2. Windows Optimization

Next is Windows optimization for Elden Ring. This will require you to do some settings and configuration on your Windows PC.

This is also very, very, very important.

1. Complete Reinstall and Clean your Drivers :

3. MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner :

Afterburner is a program for Overclocking your GPU. You may search it how it is done. This may improve many of your game performance. Rivatuner is a monitoring program which correlates with Afterburner. Set this properly you will notice much much less stutters

The last thing :

Try play the game without the messy anti cheat "EAC," well of course no online features, but this do help on performance. Go to your game folder (Steam library, right click Elden RIng, Properties and then browse game files), create a text name "steam_appid" inside, put these numbers 1245620 and then save. Launch the game from the game.exe in the folder

Well.... I, guess thats it. Simple, and quick right? This is my first time making a guide on a Steam game, and you know what? i was bored.
