Best SETTINGS for 60 fps and reduced stutter (NVIDIA)

Best SETTINGS For 60 Fps And Reduced Stutter (NVIDIA)

My basic specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz Turbo Boost @4.50GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070' 8192 MB GDDR6 (driver 511.79)

RAM: 16 GB DDR5

Steam Settings:

1ST OFF DISABLE STEAM OVERLAY FOR 10 FPS +

Nvidia Settings:

VERY IMPORTANT for reduced stutter find Configure Surround, PhysX Set To "CPU" from auto select if this doesn't help just return it to GPU or Auto for this is important for other games...

Gsync or anyone who wants vsync off...

set vsync to off in Program settings not "global" find elden ring.exe

In Global 3d Setting set Shader Cache Size "Unlimited" I personal think this is overkill but it can help some reduce stutter...

Also find Max Frame-rate set to 60 or your desired fps...

Then in the Gsync Settings you Must enable windowed and full screen mode...

Also you must enable Full-screen borderless mode in game...

Windows:

In Settings/System/Display/Graphics Settings: add Elden Ring.exe to the list and set High performance,

Increase Vram (paging-file) amount in performance tab can also help if you are struggling for stability i set mine to: 8046 MB..

Also deleting pre-built direct x shader cache from temp folders can help.. can be done in storage win 11&10...

Device Manager: Disable this setting for stutter reduction...

These are my in-game settings and i would recommend these to anyone who can reach near recommended specs of the game..

In-Game Settings:

Config Settings: (Optional) Located at

<config><ScreenMode>BORDERLESS</ScreenMode>

<Resolution-WindowScreenWidth>1920</Resolution-WindowScreenWidth>

<Resolution-WindowScreenHeight>1080</Resolution-WindowScreenHeight>

<Resolution-FullScreenWidth>1920</Resolution-FullScreenWidth>

<Resolution-FullScreenHeight>1080</Resolution-FullScreenHeight>

<Resolution-BorderlessScreenWidth>1920</Resolution-BorderlessScreenWidth>

<Resolution-BorderlessScreenHeight>1080</Resolution-BorderlessScreenHeight>

<Auto-detectBestRenderingSettings>OFF</Auto-detectBestRenderingSettings>

<QualitySetting>CUSTOM</QualitySetting>

<TextureQuality>MEDIUM</TextureQuality>

<Antialiasing>HIGH</Antialiasing>

<SSAO>DISABLE</SSAO>

<DepthOfField>DISABLE</DepthOfField>

<MotionBlur>DISABLE</MotionBlur>

<ShadowQuality>MEDIUM</ShadowQuality>

<LightingQuality>MAX</LightingQuality>

<EffectsQuality>MAX</EffectsQuality>

<ReflectionQuality>MAX</ReflectionQuality>

<WaterSurfaceQuality>HIGH</WaterSurfaceQuality>

<ShadeQuality>MEDIUM</ShadeQuality>

<VolumetricEffectQuality>MAX</VolumetricEffectQuality>

<RaytracingQuality>DISABLE</RaytracingQuality>

<GIDataQuality>HIGH</GIDataQuality>

<GrassQuality>MEDIUM</GrassQuality>

</config>

Also change the above resolution to your native if copy pasting......

Main reason for config file was to disable ray tracing setting which doesn't seem to be implemented properly yet into main menu.. could just be placebo setting.

ok thats my basic Guide to achieve 60 in most area's of the map

I'am still getting occasionally dips into 50's in area's and on high LOD zones

Thanks and please report back any other useful tips & tricks share the love..
