All About the DL2 Easter Eggs

All About the DL2 Easter Eggs

General

Dying Light 2 has many Easter Eggs. This guide will tell you all about some of the Easter Eggs in the game.

Developer Room

In order to unlock the elevator and zip-line for the VNC tower, you must complete the "Broadcast" story mission. Following the video, you will find yourself in the developer room. I won't spoil the room, enjoy it!

Please note that you do not have to fly onto the area for the elevator room. There is a zip-line below you can use to climb up.

Left Finger Of GloVA

Once you make your way into the Developer Room, you must find the bedroom. Once you enter the bedroom, look for a bed with a teddy bear. Sit down, wait for the animation to end, and grab the gloVA blueprint.

After making the gloVA (requires 369 scrap), it will come with 16 rounds loaded. Although that's not many bullets, its still pretty strong against an enemy.

Korek Charm

When you first enter the Developer Room, you will see a coffee table with a bunch of chairs around it.

After sitting on all of them, an animation will start and you will receive the Korek Charm. This charm is super overpowered as you will be able to fully restore any weapon.

It's Me...Marian! Sneakers

The sneakers might be cool (as you can jump high with them), but what if I told you that they come with a room full of memories from Kyle Crane? That's right, if you played Dying Light 1 (Kyle Crane is the main character for the first game), then you would know the full story. I won't ruin the room, but I will show you the way there.

Once you make it there, look around for a crane that is holding a container under it. Climb up to the container and use a pick lock to open it.

For the sneakers to spawn, you must listen to the tapes, and then sit by the "campfire". Wait for the animation to end, and claim your sneakers.

If you jump 3 times (in a row) with the sneakers on, you will do a cool trick.

Pan Of Destiny

Once you finish talking to the chicken, you must complete the task he gives you. It's very simple, all you have to do is grab a part that is nearby. Once you are done with the quest, make your way back to the chicken, talk to him, and get the Pan of Destiny blueprint.

With the Pan of Destiny, you can throw it and it will come back to you intact.

Flying Broom

You really thought Techland wouldn't put a Harry Potter Easter Egg in the game? In order to use the Flying Broom, make your way to the roof of the VNC tower. Once you are on the roof, go to the East side of the building. Look down, and find this building with the crane on it.

Once you make it onto the crane, start looking for some blue mushrooms. Pick some up and then a parkour challenge titled "The Baba Yaga" will appear.

Although you will not be able to keep the broom after the challenge, it's still really cool to check out!

Cyber Hands 2177

The Cyber Hands 2177 is from Cyberpunk 2077's Matis Blades. In order to get the Cyber Hands, you must make your way back to the VNC tower again.

Following the video, you will see a man standing next to a campfire. Talk to him and collect your blueprint.

Please note that there is a "glitch" going around where the guy won't appear if you have completed the whole story mode. If you have a friend who hasn't completed the game yet, you can join their game and get the blueprint there.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading this guide! I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you enjoyed. Good Luck!
