Crab Game HOW TO COOK a [CRaB]

Step 1: Gather Your SuppliesFresh crab (live or cooked)

Large pot

Water

Salt

Optional: spices (like Old Bay seasoning) or vinegar

Step 2: Prepare the PotFill a large pot with water, enough to fully submerge the crab.

Add salt (about 1 tablespoon per quart) and any optional spices.

Step 3: Boil the WaterBring the water to a rolling boil.

Step 4: Add the CrabIf using live crab, hold it by the back legs and carefully place it in the boiling water.

For cooked crab, simply add it to the pot to heat through.

Step 5: Cook the CrabLive Crab: Boil for about 10-15 minutes, depending on size. You'll know it's done when it turns bright red.

Cooked Crab: Heat for about 5-10 minutes.

Step 6: Remove and CoolUse tongs to remove the crab and place it in a bowl or on a platter. Let it cool for a few minutes.

Step 7: ServeCrack open the shells and enjoy with melted butter or your favorite dipping sauce!
