What Towers To Bring:
For this strategy, I will be using these towers:
1. Quincy
Quincy is a solid hero who has an ability which can easily prevent you from losing lives. However, he's kind of annoying because he's such a crybaby. He constantly whines and copes with the fact that he can in fact miss, even though he says "I never miss." Anyhow, he's better than Gwendolin because he can pop purple bloons.
2. Tack Shooter
The Black Shooter is a great defensive building and is completely broken in this game. For some reason, tack shooter is absolutely busted, and it's extremely rare to encounter a game without the enemy gamer using a tack shooter (If they aren't they're probably schizophrenic or have some other mental health issue). Basically, if you want to win, use this tower. The blade shooter and more tack upgrades (2-3-0 + 2-0-3) are the best ones to go for, as they can pop bloons around them like a shotgun blast.
3. Bomb Shooter.
The bomb tower or shooter (whatever your sexual preference is) is a great tower, except for the fact that it can't pop black bloons (which is why you put the tack shooter down first, idiot). The cluster bomb upgrade (0-2-3) is great to pop groups of bloons and is pretty much your only lead popping power.
4. Village
Monkey Village is a mysterious tower which can give insane buffs to your towers. It can give your tack shooters and bomb towers camo detection, as well as allowing them to pop all bloon types (middle path). It also makes them attack faster and gives them buffs with the primary training upgrades (top path).
As you can see, these towers have great synergy and can easily win any game for you.
Mindset:
To use this strategy you need to have a capitalist mindset. You need to get your money up not your funny up. You need to send as many bloons as you possibly can or this strategy will not work. To get in this mindset, try gambling your mortgage in a casino. You need to know how to use your money and when to use your money in a game of Bloons TD Battles 2.
Tomfoolery Guide: (Optional)
It's no secret that when you don't play as good as you can when you get angry... that's why you need to assert your dominance over your opponent by making them as angry as possible.
Here are some tomfoolery tips for asserting dominance over your opponent:
1. Stall the game start and spam the "you want some?" voice line.
It's important that you stall the game as much as possible: this will make your opponent as angry as possible and will minimise their chance of actually enjoying the game. Remember, don't click the battle button, wait for the thirty second timer to hit zero.
2. Spam the laugh emote whenever they lose lives due to the capitalist grindset.
The laugh emote has a notoriously fast cooldown, making it the perfect emote to spam to rile up your opponent. You thought the Clash Royale "he he he haw" had a fast cool down? Just wait till you try this laugh emote. This will give you about a 10% chance of winning by surrender, as the opponent will either endure your taunts, or they will force close the game and giving you the dub.
3. Spam the crying emote when you know you've won.
This is one of the best ways to make sure that the enemy gamer does not have a good day. Spamming the crying emote makes fun of the fact that they have a skill issue and are coping with their inability to play a childrens' game. It demoralises them: it makes them out to be a crying baby, probably because they are.
The Step-By-Step Method:
For some people, adapting tips to their own play style isn't enough, and they need a step-by-step hold-my-hand I'm-an-infant way of learning how to get good.
So, for my infant gamers out there, here's the step-by-step method:
Step 1: Place Quincy
Place Quincy in a position where he can see most of the track, as this will make his ability most effective. Quincy has a habit of missing (and lying) so you need to put him on a place where he won't miss. There is an example above of a good position to put Quincy, but you will need to take this information onto any map you play. (I know, it's hard, but you can do it 😁)
Step 2: Get Tack Shooters and Get Your Racks Up
As you've noticed, you're not playing against robots, the other player is sentient as well. To defend against the onslaught of bloons, get a tack shooter. Tack shooters will need to be upgraded to more tacks, as this will give it a shotgun blast damage capability, which will shred those clustered balloons, something Quincy cannot do. If you want, you can even get a blade shooter, which will pierce multiple balloon layers. However, you need to use some brain power to send bloons at the same time. Send reds up to round 3, then blues up to round 5, then green up to round 7, and yellows up to round 9. You can send pinks on rounds 9 through 10, but it's better to get your eco flowing then to die to the inevitable round 12 rush. You should aim to have between 750 and 900 eco by round 9 or early round 10.
Step 3: Place a Bomb Shooter
Make sure to place a bomb shooter before round 11 or your opponent could send a cheeky lead rush and kill you 😧 If you have read so far, yes, you do need the cannon, because hot shots are absolute dogwater compared to blade shooter and tack sprayer. Upgrade the bomb tower to cluster bomb so it can hit lots of leads at once, and missile launcher for extra speed if you can spare the change. This will ensure good lead protection, as the tack shooters can shred the balloons that come out of the leads.
Step 4: Get a Village
Now you may have noticed during your minutes or even hours of gameplay that people can send you camo balloons on round 12, and only Quincy can detect camos and he's completely trash. To counter this, we are going to get a 0-2-0 village up to radar scanner so your main towers can pop camo balloons. This is important, as the meta as of early December is to spam camo purples. This is a deadly rush, and Quincy can't defend it on his own. If you follow all the steps you should be able to beat this predictable rush with absolute ease. You can use a tower boost if you want to as well, as this rush can be hard to defend.
Step 5: Spam Camo Purples
For some people, it gives them a sense of right and a sense of accomplishment to not use the same strategy as everyone else, but from my experience, if you can't beat them, join them. After you defend the camo purples, retaliate with your own camo purples. You should have lots of money saved up and if they are like everyone else, their boats, ninjas and wizards will not be enough. If your opponent is an infant, congrats! You've just won a game of Bloons TD Battles 2! But if they have defended, move onto the next step.
Step 6: Prepare Your Gamer Fingers For Round 26
So if your opponent has survived, they probably read this guide. Your only option now is to be faster than them. Stack more tack shooters and maybe get some MOAB mauler bomb shooters. When round 26 arrives, you can send DDTs. No one really has protection against DDTs at the moment as everyone is very under levelled. To send DDTs fast on round 26, make sure your mouse is over the bloon boost button, and make sure you have fortified bloons selected. Then you want to spam the L key, as this will send DDTs. Make sure to press the bloon boost right as round 26 happens and send DDTs before your opponent does. Time is money here, and if your gamer hands are fast enough you will be able to clutch up an EZ dub.
