Cubism Full Guide

Introduction

So first off, I hope you are having a good day and are feeling quite well at the time of you reading this. These are some stats so you have some proof that I can actually do this, and have not copied someone else's guide.

I have over 20 000 000 million total pops.

I have over 10 000 000 million cash generated.

My highest round is 265. (I got too bored so I stopped it.)

I have currently played 372 hours on this tower defence game and counting.

I am sorry if this guide is not easily understandable, please comment how I can make this better. Steam points would be appreciated, but if you have too little to donate some, it is okay. In each and every different difficulty I will give out the hero I will be using, what you will need for the level, and other additional information. Please share this if you want, I'd love it if you could. Let's start popping those horrible, hurtful, havoc makers! Currently, I will be making live edits when possible.

Additional Info

I have created these strategies, and if you see another steam guide using the same things, I will check it out and see if I can come up with another strategy.

A lot of these strategies use the Tack Shooter. I only use the Tack Shooter in this guide as Cubism, as well as Balance, Resort, Frozen Over, and countless other maps have small spaces where the Bloons loop around an area big enough for a Tack Shooter to fit in, and because of this you can utilise the high DPS of Overdrive and The Tack Zone while the Bloons loop around it.

Alchemist is used only for its buffs, though I could make it for extra money prioritisation. The 3-2-0 and 4-2-0 give huge buffs to monkeys, allowing for higher DPS, making us spend less money overall.

Berserker Brew provides us with +1 damage, +10% range, +10% attack speed, and +2 pierce. Stronger Stimulant adds on to this by giving +15% range, +17.6% attack speed, +3 pierce, and +1 damage, as well as the Berserker Brew buff! Take the Dart Monkey for example. It does 1 damage on default, has a pierce of 2, a range of 32, and attacks every 0.95 seconds. I'll round the attack speed up for easier calculation. Adding the +1 damage from the Berserker Brew, and the same from Stronger Stimulant gives us 3 damage overall, making it capable of defeating a Green Bloon in 1 shot. Adding pierce, the buffs give the Dart Monkey an amazing 7 pierce! With the one second attack speed, the Dart Monkey first shoots at 0.9 seconds with Berserker Brew, then at 0.84 seconds! That's a total deduction of 0.16 seconds! Heaps! With the range, 32 goes up to 35.2, then up to 40.28! 8 more range added on! This means the Dart Monkey will now have roughly the same range as Geraldo!

Village is for support, and only for extra buffs to give camo detection, and to support the Tack Shooter with its top path.

In this strategy I've never needed to add a hero, but add one if you like.

The strategy:

First, place a tack shooter in the small red triangle and upgrade it to 2-0-0. You may want to have auto start on so this game can go a bit faster. Then, start upgrading the tack shooter to 203. You should be able to get this by the end of round 4.

Then get an alchemist below the tack shooter and upgrade it to 2-0-0. You should be able to get it by round 10. You can also do this step later, because lead will not appear for a while (18 rounds) but do it before round 28.If you can in time, get a 2-0-1 Or 2-2-0 alchemist but you should prioritise a 0-2-0 monkey village before round 24. Now, upgrade the tack shooter to overdrive, you should be able to do this by the end of round 31. After that, get the village to 3-2-0 and 4-0-1 on the alchemist and you're finished! Add anything you want to this strategy, but don’t sell anything! .

In this strategy I've never needed to add a hero, but add one if you like. If you do, I'd reccomend Etienne.

Place your Dart Monkey, and upgrade to 2-1-0Upgrade to 3-2-0 by the end of round 3. You really gonna want Spike-O-Pult before the dreaded ROUND 4 The 3-2-0 Spike-O-Pult will DEVASTATE Round 4. Start placing Dart Monkeys until you have about 6-8. This is what your defences should roughly look like by round 11.Upgrade all of these monkeys to 0-2-2 and by round 24, you should be able to get 1 crossbow. You should be able to get a Juggernaut right before round 28. Upgrade all your 0-2-2s to 0-2-3 and possibly some 0-2-4s. Deflate the MOAB, and you are done!

In this strategy I've never needed to add a hero, but add one if you like.

The Strategy…

So first put a tack shooter in the small red triangle near the entrance and upgrade it to 1-0-1. Then over time upgrade to 2-0-3. Then place an alchemist above the tack shooter and set it to strong. This will take care of the leads. Then, near the pool at the bottom of the map put a spike factory. It should be in a green space next to a sharp turn. Upgrade the alchemist to 3-2-0. Then upgrade the alchemist to 4-2-0. After this upgrade the tack shooter to 2-0-4 and then place a village next to the tack shooter and upgrade it 0-2-0.

The first thing you should do now is upgrade the village to 3-2-0. Then save up for The Tack Zone. You should be able to get it by round 55. You should now upgrade the village to 4-2-0. You are done! Good job.

Medium, Reverse!

Exact same as Medium Standard. I don't know why Ninja Kiwi bothered with making this difficulty.

Medium, Military Only!

Heh. One of my personal favourites.

Requirements!Upgrades.

1-2-0 Sniper

Powers:

None

Insta-Monkeys

None

Monkey Knowledge

None

To start, place a sniper and well... start placing even more snipers! When you have about 10 snipers, start upgrading each sniper to 1-2-0, starting at the first sniper you placed. Once all the snipers have been upgraded, buy more, and more, and more 1-2-0 snipers. A very simple strategy, that works quite well.

Medium... APoPaLyPsE!

Unfortunately, there is no real way for you to get a certified win. I have only been able to complete apopalypse on 4 maps. But honestly, I'll try my best to give you a border. This will also be the last difficulty that I finish, so if you are waiting for this because you are playing order, please do this last.

Upgrades:

4-2-0 Buccaneer

3-0-0 Submarine

Insta Monkeys

If you are a bit worried, I'd recommend a buccaneer with grape shot.

This strategy can be used for Magic Monkeys Only, and Alternate Bloon Rounds. For dummies, Alternate Bloon Rounds are where Bloons come in alternate sequences.

Upgrades

4-2-0 Alchemist

4-0-2 Ninja

4-0-2 Wizard

2-3-0 Druid

1-2-0 Village (ABR)

Powers:

Camo Trap (Magic Monkeys Only)

Monkey Knowledge:

None

The Strategy:

Firstly, load up ABR or whatever mode you’re using this for on Cubism. Now place a ninja here:

Speed it up to 2x speed.

Get Ninja Discipline and Sharp Shurikens.

On round 9 get an Alchemist and set it to “strong”. Place it inside the orange trapezium located next to the Ninja. This will take care of the leads.

When you’ve done that get acidic mixture dip on the alchemist roughly by round 13. This will allow the Ninja to pop camo-lead which comes quite quickly in ABR.

You should probably get perishing potions on the alchemist. This will make Berserker brew and stronger stimulants buff more later on.

Now get another ninja exactly like the other one. Place it inside the red triangle. Now upgrade them both so they have Seeking Shuriken. Now upgrade one so it has Double Shot. Now place a Ninja here: and upgrade it to 3-0-1. Now do it with another ninja right next to it. Then get Berserker Brew on the alchemist.

Get a few more 3-0-1 ninjas but keep them inside the alchemists range. 2 more should be enough.

Get another alchemist with 3-2-0 so it can help with the output of brew. Now is where the druids kick in. First place an alchemist and surround it with Druids.

Get the alchemist to 3-2-0.

Now upgrade as many druids as possible to 0-3-0.This is disobeying the magic monkeys only thing, but if you are in ABR get a village that means the druids can see camo.

Once all the druids are 0-3-0 get them to 2-3-0 to help with defences. Now upgrade all the ninjas to 4-0-1. Now just get more 0-3-0 druids because round 76 and 78 are coming up and they are really annoying if you don’t have the right defences. This is what your defence should look like by round 78: 13 or so Druids with at least the 0-3-0 upgrades, 1-3-0 or 2-3-0, one Alchemist which can buff most of the druids, a 1-2-0 or 2-3-0 village on ABR for the druids, and six 4-0-1 or 4-0-2 Ninjas buffed by two 3-2-0 Alchemists. If you are on Magic Monkeys Only, get a camo trap at the start of the track because currently the druids can’t see camo for round 78. Remember to set the Druid targeting to strong so they target the ceramics first. The Druids do so well because they suck up all the ceramics. If you have the money/upgrade get a 0 ,1 or 2-0-3 Super Monkey.

Towers

0-0-0 Dart Monkey

2-0-3 Sub

4-2-0 Village

2-0-4 Ninja

0-0-0 Dart

2-4-4 Bomb

Hero:

Striker Jones

Place down your Dart Monkey, aiming for it to be in between the orange and red triangle.

Place Striker somewhere central, making sure his range goes over most of the track.

Place a bomb shooter in the red triangle. The edge of the range should be in line with Striker Jones'.

Upgrade to 0-2-0, soon 0-2-2. Quickly upgrade to 0-2-3. This Bomb shooter should be able to take most of the bloons. Build another bomb shooter inside Striker Jones' range, and upgrade to 2-2-0, starting with 1-0-0, then 1-1-0.

If a camo bloon sneaks past your defence, do not worry. Place a Ninja Monkey down and upgrade to 2-0-2. You will eventually upgrade this to 2-0-4.

Upgrade your 2-2-0 Bomb Shooter to 2-3-0. Maulers will be one of our most powerful defences for early game. Soon upgrade the Mauler to 2-4-0. Using its ability on Round 40 will destroy the MOAB.

Purchase Recursive Cluster as soon as you can. Try and do it before the MOAB is popped on Round 40. It will easily pop the Ceramics.

Upgrade your Ninja to 2-0-3. Place a Monkey Village down and upgrade that to 1-2-0.

Before Round 50, aim to upgrade the Monkey Village to 3-2-0, and possibly the Ninja to 2-0-4.

If you have the money, after Round 49, aim for another MOAB Mauler. Even without it, Sticky Bomb will dominate the MOABs.

Upgrade the Village to 4-2-0.

Start placing subs in the pool at the bottom, and upgrade them all to 2-0-3. Spam this until the end of the game, and it should be able to get you through.

Endgame Finish

Hard, CHIMPS, Impoppable

Upgrades:

2-0-5 Spike Factory

2-0-5 Tack Shooter

4-0-2 Alchemist

4-2-0 monkey Village

You have technically won by now but you should get the spike factory to 2-0-5. (Perma-Spike). In case you are a bit worried about anything, get a few Dark Knights or a Sun Avatar. (Dark Knights recommended)
