General Usage
Clearing Phases:
Most phases will end with killing a single enemy and activating Spatter to clear the remaining enemies.
Phase 1: Bleed + Fleshripper activations into Spatter.
Phase 2: Receive damage and reflect it with Sparktail traits to activate Spatter.
Phase 3: Provoke with Sparktail Courier wielding the Hanti & Jihi relic. This will cause all enemies to attack it and activate Recompense. Spatterrrr.
Phase 4: Attack/Cast to kill target, activating SPATTER.
Sample Gameplay
Pros And Cons
ProsConsCan complete all Realm Modifiers
All types of damage are viable:
Attacks
Spells
Indirect Damage
Damage Scales with:
Enemy Health (Bleed, Spatter)
Damage Taken (Blood-caked Blade, Comeuppance, Conviviality, Seeth, Ravish, Recompense)
Maximum Health (Bloodrage, Bloodthirst, Voracity)
Missing Health (Endless Slaughter, March Toward Death, Relish In Blood)
Deal damage when it isn't your turn
Most fights will end without having to input an action.
Anti-Res
Build utilizes Final Breath (After an enemy is resurrected, it has a 75% chance to be killed again.). If my maths check out, this means there is approximately an 82% chance that one creature will die if all enemies are resurrected together. This combines with the Bloody Massacre perk and Spatter so that if the entire enemy team resurrects and one enemy dies, it will most of the time cause a chain reaction with Spatter to wipe out the enemy team.
Requires Master of Sparktails and Kiichi's Onslaught Trait Materials.
Dangerous Realm Modifiers:
Maximum Extra Traits combined with:
More Damage Taken
Reflected DamageNotable Problem Nether Bosses:
Flubris - Being immune to indirect damage will neuter most of our damage. Depending on realm modifiers it is doable or very hard.
[Class] Bloodmage
PerksBleed Out
This perk is great for sustain. For realms with "Cannot Resurrect" it will be useless, but that realm modifier is still manageable.
Blood Clot
Adds Barrier when your creatures take damage. Great defensive utility.
Blood-caked Blade
Added damage multiplier for taking damage. Great for our Sparktails.
Bloodrage
This is the main source of direct damage for our Sparktails. Since we are primarily focused on increasing health to scale the damage we reflect with Sparktail traits, this will add a way that we can directly deal damage.
NOTE: You're Sparktails will be relatively low speed, so their chance to hit will be low, however, we mostly just need one attack to land for an enemy team to be wiped out.
Bloodthirst
Just like the Bloodrage perk, but for spells.
Bloody Massacre
This perk is enables our first tier of clearing damage by allowing for Spatter to always proc when an enemy dies. Also has added utility of health recovery.
Deathrattle
This perk is a godsend so that your post start of battle Maximum Health is maintained if your Sparktails die.
Endless Slaughter
Extra offense the lower your creature's health is.
Hemostasis
Don't allocate this perk for more damage since your creatures can take multiple instances of damage during their turn (we want).
March Toward Death
Another great damage multiplier for being low health.
Masochistic Tendencies
Great utility perk to enable spells. I haven't experimented with spells too much.
Relish In Blood
Generic stat boost we are happy to take.
Sacrifice
Good utility and enables other perks by lowering health.
Sanguine Fortitude
Great defensive utility for battles that go on for a long time.
Transfusion
Health scaling for more defense and damage.
Voracity
Our last damage multiplier from perks.
Sparktail Officer
NOTE: Make sure this is the first creature in your party. This is important for the realm modifier "Extra Maximum Traits". At Instability 5, this will be limited to 1 trait. Traits are shared left to right, which causes Ravish (most valuable) to be the trait that will be shared with your Sparktails.
