Guide so you know what the is happening (Hunting Rifle Patch)

Basics

So, let's start with what I think are basics which you have to know.

1.Vampires start with 200 HP and with shield they can have up to 250 HP

2.Civilians are one shotted.

3.If you kill a Civilian or get spotted by Civilian while drinking blood from other Civilian, you are marked for other players for 60 seconds.

4. It might be just me but, I find it better to have high ground for easier aiming

5.Now when you spawn it's good to use your sense button (default: X) to see where do you wanna go, normally you want to get any weapon first and then depending on your playstyle you either try to fight people or try being stealthy and in meanwhile get some buffs from civilians.

Buffs

As I said before you get buffs from civilians, by drinking their blood.

What buffs are here?

Purple AKA Melancholic - Clan Skill Cool down (ability on default keybind Q)

Teal AKA Phlegmatic - Archetype Skill Cool down (ability on default keybind E)

Orange AKA Choleric - Melee Damage

Pink AKA Sanguine - Regenerate health per second

Red AKA Potent - Extra life (ONLY IN SOLO!!)

You start with 3 slots, can get max 12 slots by executing (diablerizing) players and armored npcs (those are found in area where is red cross on the map)

I am mostly playing duo with friends and I like to focus on Pink buffs and depending what I am playing either Purple or Teal. Of course when playing solo Red is important.

There are currently 8 classes, but I won't explain them all but the ones which I think are the best to start with and what you can do with them. Each class has Clan ability, Archetype Ability and Passive.

1. Vandal

Vandal is a class that is better in close range rather than long range, because of its clan ability it can easily jump to enemy and with its Archetype ability it can dash to enemies. It works pretty nice when you just want to go meele since if you are able to meele enemy it really hurts, especially if you have katana which can reflect projectiles. It's passive makes that you take less damage if people are near you.

Of course you can go long range, but your abilites will be only useful if you want to escape or use it for movement.

2. Prowler/Saboteur

Now it really depends on how you wanna play, I prefer Prowler because it can reveal enemies with crows, but Saboteur has passive which lets you stay half invisible during crouch so it depends if you wanna go full sneaky or a bit sneaky. Clan ability lets you go invisible and Archetype ability of Prowler sends the crows which if you hit correctly will reveal enemy for a bit, Saboteur Archetype ability lets him place a bomb which works good if you wanna ambush people. Bomb is proximity so it works only when enemies get close to it. Prowler Passive lets you track hurt enemies by leaving a red trail behind them. Saboteur Passive as I said before, makes you half invisible when you are crouching

3. Enforcer

Enforcer like Vandal is imo better in close range rather than long range, BUT It has less movement, It's Clan ability makes you invulnerable for about 5 seconds, Archetype ability lets you dash forward, dealing damage to enemies and also silencing them so they can't use any abilites for a while, so I suggest you again go meele as with vandal, though you won't be as mobile as Vandal can. Enforcer Passive makes people around you slower.

4.Guardian (my favorite)

Guardian is good for medium range and close range, still can be used in long range but abilites won't really help. Guardian clan ability is the same as Enforcer, it makes you invulnerable for about 5 seconds, Archetype ability of Guardian makes you throw a chain towards enemy, which if enemy goes too far away from the location where the chain started, chain will break dealing 50 damage to enemy. Passive which makes it my favorite class, makes so each time you drink blood from civilian or execute armored npcs/players besides refilling your HP also gives you shield.

First of all, you can have max 3 weapons

- 2 guns and 1 meele.

There is a pretty nice variety of weapons but I won't cover them all, I'll cover which I think are the most powerful and easiest to use.

1. Dual Crossbows

They are powerful at close and and when you have high ground, when shooting them you fire an arrow which explodes when hitting something, because of that you dont neccessary have to aim at the enemy but at their feet. You want to use them mostly in flat terrains for easier usage.

Example of usage: https://medal.tv/games/bloodhunt/clips/WkarwXRhwRn9Z/d1337MEgPVu6?invite=cr-MSw2QXEsMTQxMjY5NzQzLA

2. Crossbow

They are good at medium range and with high ground. They got recently buffed and they are pretty nice to have if you don't plan to play close range. They shoot arrows which when hitting something will make a toxic gas which deals damage.

Example of usage: Sadly none since I play mostly with Dual Crossbows.

3. Assault Rifle

Pretty basic weapon in all BR games, its good in medium and close range, though you can use it at long range if you feel like it, can use it with pretty much everything.

Example of Usage:https://medal.tv/games/bloodhunt/clips/Wk2Au5v778n9Y/d1337HfjBuP1?invite=cr-MSxlRmMsMTQxMjY5NzQzLA

4. SMG and Tommy gun

Both are pretty good in close range, though I don't recommend having them both I just feel like having one of those and for example Assault Rifle is better. Not much to say about those, they just shoot fast lol.

MEELE

At the start you pretty much choose whatever you want and if you see higher rarity imo just take it, though there are 3 meeles which you have to choose from at epic rarity. Katana, Dual Daggers and

Dual blades. All three are pretty nice, Katana can reflect bullets, Dual Daggers lets you throw one from time to time (pretty often, I don't now exact CD), Dual blades lets you dash.

Depending how you want to play you choose one though if I had to choose one it would be a Katana since reflecting bullets is pretty nice, sadly I didn't have a chance to do that yet since I rarely use meele.

I think Dual Daggers are best for medium combat so you can just throw them at people instead of going close range and meele and Dual Blades are nice when you play Archetype without a dash.

!! All the weapons I listed here are weapons which I like using the most and saw people using them, in the end choice of weapon is yours to make and you can still go with shotguns, snipers and anything you want, since it depends on your playstyle !!

NOTE

This is my first time making a guide and I don't really have any experience with that so any criticism is welcome. I am not some person who has big amount of hours but I though that I could share a bit with people that are already starting/coming back and dont remember much.
