Rosy'sYouTuber's Builds

Intro

This is just for convenience of being able to open a list of builds that were "good enough for YouTube!" within a click or two without needing to use the in-game browser or tab-out to search YouTube and spend 5 minutes searching through 30 minute build videos when you just wanna make one and go.

These should almost all be viable on Nightmare now (they were made to be + a lot more builds are - you can even do it cardless).

The title of each build should be self explanatory - I may add extra notes for some, or upon suggestion.

I've included quite a few YouTubers and added a bit of a description for them, and embedded a video into the guide for each of them so you can watch and get a feel for their content and easily click-through to their channel. I know the majority of you will probably use this guide for like the first two builds you like and forget there's about 45+ here, so I will stick the more noteworthy ones at the top and any out of date or not so good builds will be marked/commented on and a bit lower.

Swingpoynt

Swing was probably the one guy that kept Resident Evil Resistance alive and that had a great card system so as soon as I heard this game would have a card system I knew he would be right in his element. Swing goes the full mile with builds, he does a ton of testing, numbers and creative theory in his videos and is usually the one breaking new ground with ways to play and things that are slept on.

He does have quite a few build videos but being pre-december they would take slight tweaking but otherwise should be completely viable! If you enjoy this game and have not yet been to his channel, you genuinely have no idea how many things he's found out about this game.

Big Red

Big Red is a Cold War Zombies and Back 4 Blood YouTuber that started late 2020 and has already hit over a thousand subs - I respect his grind, and passion when he speaks. His content seems very focused and to the point and he is a hidden gem with his videos.

There are quite a few duplicate build videos so I will just focus on his latest builds as they seem well thought-out and the comments are positive.

Raging Reaper

Raging Reaper is a deep-voiced variety Twitch streamer and YouTuber who plays in a full-face of skull make-up - some games include Vanguard, Warzone, Battlefield and single player games like The Last Of Us and Far Cry 6. He's going to be doing R6 Extraction, BL3 Tiny Tina's DLC and Dying Light content when that becomes available and if you are interested in watching someone stream it.

He does builds and loadouts, reviews, tutorials and long-plays. There is plenty of Back 4 Blood content on this guy's channel - he's made 14 build videos since December already! I like seeing something a bit different too build-wise, like he has a build for reviver/healer, and then another build for a pain-med playstyle. He also has done solo-nightmare guides if you really want to get good at the game.

PLEASE NOTE - It's possible to go over 100% accuracy at which point you will actually lose accuracy. Some attachments will tip you over and you may find 100% already to be overkill so consider swapping one of the accuracy cards out - later in this build is also a sniper specific-card, if you're not going to be going for a sniper weapon then consider replacing this with something like buckshot bruiser/shell carrier/face your fears etc. Also note that Hellfire is crazy fun on anything full-auto.

Admin Reload is great for decks like these, you can cut down on reload speed cards, plus with this current deck, with all the reload speed you'd really save no time switching weapons and thus what is the point of Two is One - not like you're gonna run out of ammo soon with all the ammo cards - might as well carry on firing with the higher damage AR that you just instantly reloaded right?

I like the idea of a build like this, especially with an uncoordinated team, NO ONE is gonna be watching your ass so you will inevitably be ganged up on by some ridden as the sniper on the team.

Now this is one of those funny builds we've all looked for once upon a time and gave up on because not tryharding wasn't viable - stick in Hellfire I reckon and you'll see a decent move speed while firing, which you're going to be doing a LOT of. Reload speed cards actually affect Admin Reload, but you're gonna be firing your LMG long enough to reload the other one anyway so for this deck probably isn't necessary.

This is a rare build to see, one that doesn't focus on you being the Main Character of the group - this isn't a medic or sniper build, it's a support build to keep ammo, money and throwables coming in with a bit of survivability on top. You could put in extra team support inventory but you'll likely not be passing many up, and with this build you're already giving up a good chunk of health.

Keep in mind this build is used with a Medic still being on the team - Experienced EMT will negate some of your health loss, and every good medic comes with Support Scavenger so you won't need it yourself.

OCZSAVAGE

OCZ is a variety YouTuber currently focusing on Apex and Back 4 Blood. He does coaching for Apex on fiverr and has been a long time hardcore competitive gamer. You can tell he puts a good amount of thought into his decks and tests them.

Running Butcher

Running Butcher is a Division 2 YouTuber who has dipped his toes into Anomaly and Back 4 Blood - man is on a huge grind and I respect his effort he puts into his video and speaking a language he struggles with, and the thumbnails do look great.

Builds can be lacklustre from certain cards missing that would be fine for Vet but may cause issues in Nightmare (he writes "best nightmare build" but this is not a measure of viability for NM on this channel - one post Dec video had "OCT" written on it so I suspect a bit of Copy Pasting of out of date builds?).

Helpful tips in his comments as when the experts all come out for disagreements! I may also provide a couple of notes about how the build works and what you should tweak.

I have not included his Doc build because there's other Doc builds here that work great and we don't need more that don't know what they're doing and there's plenty builds here.

Questionable deck - as someone mentioned in the comments, it's an AR build with no AR cards in it.. I personally find AR ammo runs out quickly. Tactical Vest would make a lot more sense than Ammo Mule, disabling Support Accessories is quite a downside, and where is the thought process if you're literally putting Chemical Courage in the same deck...

You'd expect to see Numb used here - since it's a build about survivability - and Numb paired with Face Your Fears on a melee deck will be active basically 100% of the time. I would personally put Vanguard in over Experienced EMT - good bit of team healing as the frontliner, especially if your team knows how to play around you on NM and every Doc on NM should have that card anyway.

Karlee is Butcher's favourite Apex Legend so this is specifically for Tec-9 + SMG. I think it would make a lot more sense to put Mag Carrier earlier as you end up with like 900 SMG ammo, and I'm surprised Shredder isn't included as it's gonna take more SMG bullets to take things down than other guns - maybe in place of Ammo Mule? I think Mag Carrier gives you plenty to not warrant Ammo Mule, especially if you can just ask teammates to drop SMG when low.

PNDK&M (Pre - December Update)

Ketchup & Mustard are retired competitive players who now are heavily involved commentators for the Fighting Game Community - best known for Mortal Kombat but are not afraid to add in variety and have proven to enjoy B4B. Their official build videos are usually very fun but pre-update - they still are playing the game, and doing hours long videos and offline solo-nightmare etc.

I figured unless they made new build videos I would leave them as they are. It doesn't stop you fixing up these builds and updating them in-game yourself!

FireSpark81 (Pre - December Update)

FireSpark is a creator for a hugely diverse amount of games and loves the modded scene of many games, including 7 Days to Die and Project Zomboid which he has streamed recently. His videos are well thought out and put together and he has dabbled in Back 4 Blood but the nature of his channel means some games get slept on and this is one of them, he hasn't returned to B4B in months - however I liked his videos and thought it was worth including his old builds.

Hope you found it helpful having these stuck here for convenience, hopefully it brings unaware people over to these guys! Swing for example has a bustling community and sometimes does viewer games, whereas Raging Reaper makes a huge effort for YouTube and Stream with the make-up and I think would be nice if a couple more people came to show appreciation and to keep him company when he plays :)

I'll be on the lookout for updated guides from these YouTubers, and adding more YouTubers to the roster. If there's any you like or any very recent ones you haven't seen on here let me know and I'll take a look!
