Enabling Debug Console
Navigate to: %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Amnesia Rebirth\Main
Find a file: Steam_Username_(some random numbers)_user_settings.cfg
Open it with your preferred text editor, I use Notepad.
Find an entry: DebugMode="false" and change it to DebugMode="true"
Save and exit. Next time you start the game, the debug console will be enabled.
Using Debug Console
I recommend starting a new game, on Adventure Mode for less scares and being easier to go through. All of these can be achieved no matter in Adventure or Original.
Press F1 to open the debug toolbar, and expand the Map & Scene section.
Click Load Map. This will open a file picker within the game and start within the game’s main directory.
Navigate to maps > chapter_01-04 > choose which scene you need.
Select the .hpm file and click Load File.
Game will freeze for a bit while it loads a new map. Press F1 to close the debug console and resume.
Proceed to the needed achievement location.
If you want to load a chapter not listed here, maybe to re-experience some things, get screenshots, etc, you can look up the map names from their pages in Amnesia Wiki[amnesia.fandom.com] .
Warning
Although this is an easy way, I do not recommend doing this too much. It can kinda mess up your inventory. And using the console to teleport to a map, consumes a save slot since there are only autosaves. So if you do this too often, it's possible your saves will be overwritten.
I don't think you can collect missed collectibles using this method, so if you're doing a collectible run, just play it normally. Use this guide for the chapter-specific achievements, no need to touch the console.
The Cave
Map: chapter_01 > 01_02_caves
The achievement you can get here is:
Nope, Merci!: Left when things were getting interesting in Amnesia: Rebirth.
How to get: A bit after the camp area in the cave, you will see a passage with a lit torch. Tasi will then call out her husbands name. After that, save and exit the game. The achievement will unlock back in the main menu.
This achievement is early in the game, you should probably get it normally.
The Fortress
Map: chapter_02 > 02_02_courtyard
The achievements you can get here are:
Narcissist: Gazed at a reflection in the water.
How to get: Right after entering the fort, go left. There's a small fountain, look at the water.
Historian: Found an unfinished letter from an archaeologist to his sister.
How to get: Enter the blue doors in the middle building. Do the elevator puzzle, and on the 2nd floor turn left to find a flight of stairs. There's a crate here, the letter is in the crate.
Escape Artist: Escaped a cage in the Arsenal without setting off a grenade.
How to get: In the courtyard, open the tank, take the key from the wall panel, enter the door under the stairs from the entrance. Run to the back room where you see a cage. Enter from the side window, remove the grenade hook from the door. To your right is a corpse holding a key, take it and unlock the door.
You can also teleport directly to the Arsenal, the map: chapter_02 > 02_03_arsenal
The Cistern
Map: chapter_02 > 02_05_cistern
The achievement you can get here is:
Can Opener: Popped the lid on some carefully stored meat.
How to get: Near the end of the chapter, you will duck through some water-filled tunnels. After some ducking, there will be a wheel in front of you, with the sewer door above you on the wall. Turn the wheel, some bone and guts will fall.
The Oasis
Map: chapter_02 > 02_06_oasis
The achievement you can get here is:
Trawler: Found treasure beneath the water.
How to get: In the middle of the oasis are some rocks. Dive near the rocks, there are some crates and pottery you can open to get some oil.
The Alchemist's Chambers
Map: chapter_02 > 02_07_alchemists_lab
The achievement you can get here is:
Translocator: Sent extra objects through the portal in the Alchemist's Chambers.
How to get: In this chapter you must find batteries to turn on the mini-teleporter. Once it's on, teleport some random objects through it. There are plenty in the room, so don't worry.
The Laboratory
Map: chapter_03 > 03_07_dwf_b_rnd
If it's your first run, I recommend save and exit when you enter the torture room, since these achievements are mutually exclusive, however they don't affect the ending. The achievements you can get here are:
Torturer: Tortured an innocent to aid an unborn child.
How to get: After getting the mini-pyramid thing that restores power, the torture room will show a guy all tied up. Follow the instructions on the wall and match the canister to power up the torture machine, and sit on the chair before getting to the tram. Unlocks on the start of next level.
Altruist: Spared an innocent, perhaps dooming an unborn child.
How to get: Instead of doing the torture puzzle, you can just leave through where you enter and ride the tram. Unlocks on the start of next level.
