1) Download RPFM
First thing you need is to download RPFM (Rusted Pack File Manager). Here's the link : https://github.com/Frodo45127/rpfm/releases
Then put it in whatever folder you want and unzip it.
2) Modify Your Game Using RPFM
When it's done, open RPFM and follow the instructions :
1) Select the game you want to modify :
For my example I will modify Troy but you can do it on all Total War games since "Total War: Empire".
2) Search the file named "data.pack" (located in steam\steamapps\common\"whatever TW games you want to modify"\data) and open it. The name can vary according which Total War you want to modify but there will always have "data" in it (ex: for TW Troy it's called "data_db.pack")
3) When it's done the next step is finding the good variable that we want to modify to have bigger armies.
Then you just need to find this particular line:
And edit the value by any number between 20 and 40 (don't try more I think it will crash your game).
After that, don't forget to save your modification before quit.
And simply launch your last save, you should now have bigger armies !
