7 Days to Die Day 1 Basic and How to Survive

Day 1

You will spawn only in your underwear with no equipment and a note from a very mad grumpy old man

Do NOT MOVE from that area you have a small area of protection that lasts a couple of in game hours use that time in the space you spawned in to complete your quests up to the trader

After you complete quests and there will be a chapter on that later, you head to the trader and take a quest from them so that you can make money to buy food till you can get a farm up and going

You will immediately begin by punching things, even though Momma said Don't, Peachie says Do IT go punch the grass, collect twigs and stone till you have enough to make a stone as (my best friend in the game)

Use your ax to start chopping trees, grass, and rock till you have enough to build a campfire, three wooden frames (and fill them), your clothes, a cub, a bow and if you have found some feathers than some arrows.

You will place your bed roll off to the side of the street build your boxes , put your campfire on top of it, equip your clothes, than you will have finished your quest for the trader minus walking the them

Head to the trader and if you are playing with friends you would meet at the trader

All of you grab a quest (the digging ones give more food)

Find the closest spot to that trader and water that you possibly can, place bed rolls than head out to do your quest

After you finish your quest you will go back to the trader than you will depending on the time of day rinse and repeat or go build and hide

You will always want to pick up a different quest at the trader every time that you return so that you don't have to go back and pick one up and to make it easier to find the trader if you forget to mark them on your map

In order to survive you need FOOD and WATER. That being said the first couple of visits to the trader you should focus on any type of food you can get your hands on and seeds

You can buy food from the vending machines as well as the trader

Ways to get food are hunt/grow food, savage from loot, buy from trader, and buy from vending machine

Water is found or you collect it from rivers/oceans

If you find dirty water it must be boiled to drink it or you will get sick

You better have your behind inside at night, hidden and in a sea of spikes/traps to catch the zombies
